It rinses off well and does not leave scummy residue around the edge of the bath. The smell: Quite ravishing really. The lavender is subtle, but is definitely there because everytime I lie down in the bath I feel slightly sedated and drowsy! This is definitely a shower gel to use at the end of a hard day, the aromas will wash over you like a gentle waterfa...more

Premium Review Radox Relax Herbal Shower Gel: Sniff Me. Go On (323 words)

I do like Radox products, they represent a hint of luxury in the bathroom. Infinitely more appealing than a bar of soap, the shower gels are a way to indulge without splashing out too much on the cash. The herbal shower gel is one I experienced recently and it is mighty fine. The idea of this shower gel is to relax and soothe you. The key ingredient here is lavender which is renowned for its relaxation properties. How to use: Well, it's a shower gel, so work a small amount between the hands and slowly rub into the body, building up a steady lather. This stuff lathers well, leaving a creamy feel on the body as it is slowly absorbed. It ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Relax in something else (554 words)

I'm a huge fan of Radox shower gels and creams and love trying out all the new ones that I find on the shop shelves. I'm quite a girly girl so tend to prefer trying the ones that have girly colours and smells that look pretty in the bathroom. So when I stumbled upon Radox's Relax shower therapy, I immediately liked the lilac coloured look and flowery smell of it so decided to give it a try. The shower gel comes in the usual plastic opaque container as pictured above. It has a lilac flip and click lid at the bottom and a lilac handle at the top which you can flip up and hang over a rail in the shower for easy use. You can see through the container that the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Radox Relax Herbal Shower Gel: For nightime use only (411 words)

Tesco often has special offers on shower gels and so I stock up as I love a bargain. One bottle I had bought caught my eye as it was a lovely lavender colour, the clear plastic bottle is curvy and easy to hold, the hook and base flip cap is in a pretty lavender colour. I admit I rarely use the hook, and the flip opening is "flipping" difficult to flip open. On the front of the bottle is the Radox logo and I know most people will be aware that Radox has been around for many years in different forms, as they have been blending natural herbs since 1908! This is one of their modern ranges of Shower therapy gels and is called "relax". There is a picture ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A Lavender Shower Gel that doesn't smell like old people (682 words)

I buy a number of shower gels on my shopping trips to Asda, usually what is on special offer. I am under strict instruction from Mr Lools not to purchase anything with a lavender scent as it reminds him of old people and nursing homes (his words not mine!!). However after having guests staying one weekend a bottle of Radox Relax Lavender and Waterlily ended up in our bathroom cabinet and Mr Lools mistakenly started using it. Surprisingly despite this containing lavender he loved it. ***The Packaging*** The shower gel comes in a 250ml bottle. This is a flat oval shaped bottle with a flat bottom. The bottle is made from clear plastic ...  Read the complete review
