Advantages: Smells lovely, lathers well, good price
Disadvantages: None
I have to say that I thought I had tried and reviewed every shower gel produced by Radox but no - I have found another one! I always get lots of shower gels for Christmas as my husband likes to get me lots of things to unwrap on Christmas Day as well as my main present! Anyway it is now the end of August and I still have one or two left in the cupboard.
This one is Radox Replenish Shower Gel.
The container for this one is a pale peachy colour with the usual Radox logo in white lettering on a bright green background.
Below this is the word 'replenish' in orange at ninety degrees to the rest of the writing which is also in orange and reads 'shower cream with a combination of Vitamin E and Provitamin B5 known to care for skin' and a picture of some bubbles rising up the container.
The gel itself is the same pale peachy colour as the container and smells very light and fruity. It does actually smell of peaches and apricots - well that's what it smells like to me anyway! I find it notoriously difficult to identify fragrances let alone describe them!
Having looked at the list of ingredients there is nothing there to give me a clue as to the fragrance; come to think of it apart from 'aqua' there's nothing there that I even recognise!
Anyway, as I say, it really does smell lovely. It lathers up very well in the shower, although the combination of soft Snowdonia water and a power shower would make almost any of this type of product lather well! The fragrance remains in the air once I have finished my shower and I can smell it lightly on my skin which is nice.
The writing on the back of the container says 'Radox shower creams are kind to your skin with active skin conditioners they are PH balanced and dermatologically tested'.
As for whether it actually replenishes the skin I can't really say. I haven't noticed an appreciable difference but then my skin usually feels fairly soft anyway.
As I am usually in a bit of a rush in the morning - I like to sit in bed drinking tea until the last minute - so I tend to go for shower gels with hooks. It is so much easier to hang the shower gel in the shower and use it from there rather than trying to juggle with one without a hook.
The Radox range fits always the bill coming in transparent plastic squeezable containers with a moveable hook clipped into the top. The end of the hook comes away from the container and twists through 180 degrees so that it is upright on top of the container and you can then hang it up in the shower.
The other useful advantage to Radox shower gels is the actual gel dispenser itself. To use the shower gel you just have to flip open the plastic lid and squeeze the container, the same as you would any other shower gel. The difference with this one is that where the gel actually comes out there is a clear plastic disc covering the opening with a tiny hole in the centre which means that the shower gel does only come out when you give it a squeeze. In turn this also means that if you do happen to drop the container in the shower whilst the lid is open or even leave the lid open whilst the gel is hanging in the shower the gel won't ooze out and be wasted.
As with most of these sorts of products the shower gel does carry a warning to avoid getting it in your eyes - if you do wash out immediately with cool, clean water, obvious I know but worth a mention just in case.
Since this was a present I hadn't a clue how much it had cost so I looked on the Internet and it is about £1.80 although there are often special offers on Radox shower gels and bubble baths in Boots and supermarkets generally.
I shall continue to enjoy my Radox shower gels and if I come across another one that I haven't tried before I shall of course tell you all about it!

Summary: A great shower gel
