... yummy, your skin will thank you. It also warns you not to drink the product, but from the smell I can imagine wanting to - it smells like some of the yoghurt based smoothies that I am so fond of! It comes in a clear bottle, so you can see whats in the product. Its difficult to describe the colour, its not really yello but its not beige either. I suppose its the colour you would get if you mixed yoghurt and honey! It also has brown bits floating in it, these are hyssop flowers and almond meal bits, which I suppose are to...more

Crowned Review Radox Shower Smoothies: Soul Soother, Skin Irritator (1124 words)

Ages ago I requested a free sample of this via pigsback.com. It was so long ago that I had forgotten all about it, so when it turned up earlier this week I was rather excited (it was free, I love receiving packages and I got points too). What had turned up was not the usual one use sachet but a 50 ml tube. Even better my husband had also requested a sample which he said I could have so I was in possession of two tubes. After giving it a sniff I couldn't wait to try it out. What is it? I'm not entirely sure what it is, it doesn't really say on the bottle. I just assumed it was a posh shower gel. It is a cross between a bubble bath crème, shower gel ...  Read the complete review

Recently I was shopping at my local Tesco, and recieved a 'save £1 when you spend £5' on toiletries till spit. I had wanted to try a Shower Smoothie for a while a since seeing them in a magazine, and I was a bit spoilt for choice - there are four in the range, Natural Balance, Soul Soother, Spirit Booster and Tropical Tranquility. Its such a difficult choice so I gave them all a quick snigg and settled on Natural Balance. I paid £2.41 for the product The product is described as 'A luxurious Yoghurt and Honey shower smoothie with Hyssop and soft Almond bits. Smell me, im special. Thinck, indulgent and yummy, your skin will thank you. It also warns you not to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Radox Shower Smoothies: A seedy night in (817 words)

I'm one of these girls that likes her lotions and potions; so in one of my (I'm slightly ashamed to say) increasingly regular Poundland reconnaissance missions, I come across the Radox Shower Smoothies and pounced. These Radox smoothies can be found in most chemists & supermarkets too; recently they were selling at Tesco for £2.41[!!!] a 200ml bottle (but are now on 'offer' there for £1.21). Realistically you should expect to pay from around £1.60-ish upwards, depending where you shop. **Smooth Operator** The Smoothies come in various 'flavours', with the two that I've tried being; 'Soul Soother' ["an indulgent, creamy ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Smells good enough to drink! (235 words)

Radox Shower Smoothies has recently added a new fragrance to their fabulous range called 'Tropical Tranquillity'. I bought it on the spur of the moment and was immediately attracted to the heavenly 'holiday' fragrance. Its main fragrances are coconut, almonds and myrrh (I have never smelled Myrrh before and had only heard about it in the Christmas story). The shower cream has a lovely thick and creamy texture. It lathers nicely and, even though it contains crushed almonds, it doesn't feel rough on your skin. My skin tends to be rather dry, but I have found that Radox Shower Smoothies are good moisturisers and do not dry out my skin at all. Another added ...  Read the complete review

Last year I received, as many people did, a trial sample of a "new" shower product from Radox.....never one to turn down a freebie, I accepted gratefully, and became introduced to the "shower smoothie"......and I have to say that I have discovered a fantastic product as a result. The free sample was of "soul soother" - a fruity little number, which has its own category on dooyoo, so will get a review under that heading in due course. Since then, though, I have a new favourite in "Energy Therapy", which is the green tube shown in the picture above. This is an shower gel that is more expensive than many ...  Read the complete review
