Luxurious shower creams (Radox Shower Smoothies)
Member Name: emmi2009
Advantages: Moisturising for the skin Disadvantages: Not exfoliating as the name implied Radox Shower Smoothies come in three different types - Soul Soother, Energy Therapy and Natural Balance. When i first saw these i assumed they were some sort of exfoliator - the name smoothie just seemed to convey that to me - i'm not sure what other people think. I bought them when they were under offer in Boots although i can't remember what the offer was now but i only bought the soul soother and the natural balance one. They both smell lovely and the natural balance one appealed to my other half too, but not the soul soother as being pink he wasn't too impressed when i suggested he tried it. They have quite a creamy consistency which is very luxurious but i would say my initial thought that they were exfoliators was incorrect - they are more of a shower cream. I used them with exfoliating gloves and they don't really later up which is ok for me although i think they really are aimed more for women. Also because they are creamy after drying after a shower i didn't feel as though my skin was tight and irritable which it does sometimes with other shower gels. Summary: Good shower product for dry skin types |
