Advantages: Great smell, moisturising,

Disadvantages: None

Recently I was shopping at my local Tesco, and recieved a 'save £1 when you spend £5' on toiletries till spit. I had wanted to try a Shower Smoothie for a while a since seeing them in a magazine, and I was a bit spoilt for choice - there are four in the range, Natural Balance, Soul Soother, Spirit Booster and Tropical Tranquility. Its such a difficult choice so I gave them all a quick snigg and settled on Natural Balance. I paid £2.41 for the product

The product is described as 'A luxurious Yoghurt and Honey shower smoothie with Hyssop and soft Almond bits. Smell me, im special. Thinck, indulgent and yummy, your skin will thank you. It also warns you not to drink the product, but from the smell I can imagine wanting to - it smells like some of the yoghurt based smoothies that I am so fond of!
It comes in a clear bottle, so you can see whats in the product. Its difficult to describe the colour, its not really yello but its not beige either. I suppose its the colour you would get if you mixed yoghurt and honey! It also has brown bits floating in it, these are hyssop flowers and almond meal bits, which I suppose are to add a little bit of exfoliation the the product. Now I confess to not actually knowing what a hyssop flower is, but im not sure it matters.

The product smells great, unlike a lot of products which contain extracts of this or that, the Shower Smoothie actually contains all the things it says it contains. I think you can smell both the yoghurt and the honey. Its quite pungent, not as subtle as you might expect given the ingredients.
It lathers up quite nicely, but as its not very soapy its not very bubbly so I would recommend using it straight on the skin instead of on a sponge or loofah.

After using it my skin did feel very moisturised, and I can still faintly smell it on my skin. The little bits do give a gentle exfoliation, so my skin feels a little smoother.
I would definately recommend it and I would use it again. Its more expensive than some regular showel gels, but this is no regular product, so its worth paying the extra. I will definately be buying it again after this bottle has been used up.
