Radox produce a range of herbal bubble bath and shower gels. According to their website, Radox has over 100 years expertise in combining the right natural herbs and minerals renowned for their therapeutic properties to help you feel better. The first Radox product was produced in 1908, a salts foot bath that RADiated OXygen, hence the name RADOX.

The newest product I have tried is their Radox invigorate shower gel, guaranteed to give you a pick up in the morning and as they say, "wash the sleep right out of your head!"

This shower gel is called Invigorate and is described as an oxygen herbal shower gel. On the bottle it includes the phrase, "hop in the shower, flip open our invigorate oxygel and breathe in the fresh smell of natural spearmint and zingy citrus oil." Other ingredients included in this shower gel are natural lemon oil and sweet orange oil. With all these citrusy flavours I would have expected the shower gel to smell more fruity but to me this shower gel smelt quite like a sea kelp ish type smell and more fresh smelling but that's not to say the smell was bad. It is quite refreshing and after a shower my husband (who uses it the most) smells great for hours after his shower which is nice so it's quite a long lasting fragrance. I would definitely say it's more of a smell for men though but women can use it too.

The gel itself is a lovely sea blue colour which I think also explains why it smells quite like the sea to me too. It is quite interesting that you can actually see the Oxygen bubbles in the gel, they are all the way through so you can definitely tell it has the oxy power in it.

The bottle that the gel comes in is extremely handy and useful. It has a black plastic handle at the top that swivels and enables you to hang it from the shower head which is an extremely convenient place to hang it so it does not get in the way on the bottom of the shower floor. The bottle then in theory hangs upside down as the bit where the gel comes out is now at the bottom. The nozzle is very nifty too. It has a stopper on it that only allows the gel to come out if you squeeze the bottle so hanging it upside down doesn't let the gel leak out. It is also a very handy way to get to the gel as you just squeeze the bottle and do not have to bother opening caps etc which can be hard to do when your hands are all wet from being inside the shower. The nice thing is you only need a bit of gel because it lathers up very well and a little goes a long way.

Radox state that lathering up with their oxygel bubbles will help bring your skin back to life and I did feel after using this gel in the morning quite refreshed and awake due to the nice smell. The product can be purchased for approximately £2.49 from most beauty stores, Boots etc and in my opinion is well worth a try!
