Advantages: Smells good, bubbles well, good price
Disadvantages: I don't have chance to use it often enough!
I have always loved Radox bubble baths and I noticed that they did one specifically for stress relief, so I decided to try it. I don't actually have time to take a bath very often because of having to be with mom most of the time but when I get the chance this is lovely.
It is called Stress Relief with Rosemary and is a lovely shade of blue in colour. The rosemary is an aid to circulation and the fragrance has a calming effect.
I fill the bath with water and make sure it is the perfect temperature and I add a liberal dash of Radox Stress Relief and in I get. The bubbles are thick and there's a lot of them but that maybe due to our soft water here in North Wales.
I lie down in the bath and try some creative visualisation, which involves visualising yourself as you would want to be. The idea is that the positive vibes created help you to move towards your goal.
So I can lie in my Radox bath visualising myself as relaxed and happy whilst inhaling the lovely fragrance of rosemary and I drift away.......
In fact I sometimes get to the point where I doze off in the bath and wake up looking like a pink, wrinkled prune!
As a bit of background information Radox is made by a firm called Sara Lee, a part of H & BC UK Ltd. I don't know whether it's the same firm that makes the gateaux! Now there's a thought - how about relaxing in the bath with a slice of chocolate gateau? Maybe not!
There are many other varieties of Radox Herbal Baths, each advertised for use on a different occasion. All of them are designed to 'relax tired muscles and unwind tired minds'. I am currently working my way through all the ones that I have tried and writing opinions for you.
A word of advice here about bubble baths containing essential oils in general - if you're pregnant please take advice before using them - the essential oils may be dangerous for you.
Each one also carries a warning to avoid getting it in your eyes - if you do wash out immediately with cool, clean water, obvious I know but worth a mention just in case.
They all cost pretty much the same - about £2.50 per bottle, but there are often two for the price of one offers at the supermarkets so keep your eyes peeled - I do!
So there you are, relax, visualise your life the way you want it to be and who knows?
Oh and I am sure you would want me to tell you that the bottle is plastic and therefore can be recycled!
Summary: A great bubble bath from Radox

My arms and shoulders always ache when I finish work. I used to use the Radox "Muscle Relief" bath foam, but found the smell a touch too masculine. This one does the same job just as well, and is much more pleasant in fragrance and a little less harsh on the skin. |
