Advantages: An inexpensive body spray

Disadvantages: None

Have you noticed how all of the shops have become obsessed with offering goods to the public priced at just £1?
The supermarkets are flooded with meal deals all marked at £1 and as I wandered past Superdrug they have gone one better and have a giant banner on their front window advertising a whole range of products all marked down to 99p.

I think that most of us have tightened our belts and the manufacturers have responded accordingly discovering that they now have to lure us in through the door with knock down prices if they want to offload their goods.
Of course for the consumer this is the way to go, there are bargains out there and on the whole most of us are prepared to scout around for them.

The Revlon Charlie Pink Body Spray was one of those products on the Superdrug poster.
Summer may be a little slow in coming but I like to be prepared and when the temperature rises then we can thank our lucky stars for body sprays.

Revlon have a host of fragrant sprays but Charlie Pink is one of my favourites. The slimline shocking pink can looks attractive and Revlon have just simply splashed their name and the name of the fragrance elegantly across the can.
The spray can is ideal to slip into any handbag and the spray is released very easily by depressing the wide white plastic nozzle.

If I am honest I am not at all frugal with the spray, once I have started the can I tend to go mad and every square inch of available skin gets the treatment, hence 99p's worth lasts me no time at all.

Charlie Pink is described as a mixture of vanilla, juicy red fruits and tangerine. Vanilla has to one of my all time favourites, I can pick it out a mile away and I can instantly smell it when I use the body spray. The sharp smell of tangerine is there but apart from that I am hard pushed to pick out the `red fruits`.
The body mist has an ultra fine spray, it shoots out from the can like silk and dries instantly. The spray leaves no stickiness and you cannot see or feel it on your skin.
Any aerosols must be treated with care, I never use them near wooden surfaces or aim the nozzle any where else but directly at my skin.
Usually I hold the can about 12 inches away from my skin and that seems about right.
Charlie Pink is zingy and has a good kick to it but after a while that lively edge dies down and leaves a far more subtle fragrance in its wake.

I never use Charlie Body Spray on its own as a deodorant but rather more as a back up, I feel that I need a good anti antiperspirant as well as a body spray.
Once you have used the spray then you can expect to smell it a good few hours later, the vanilla fragrance clings beautifully.

Although I like to have a quick squirt during the course of the day I prefer to use the spray when I have just been in the shower, that way it only comes into contact with my skin and there is no chance of it marking my clothes. The Revlon body spray suits my skin and it doesn't irritate it at all.

Revlon have quite a few different fragrances, Revlon Charlie Secret, Gold, Red, Blue and White.
Charlie Pink has to be a decent buy at 99p a time, at that price you can afford to buy a couple of cans to put away in your draw.

Summary: One that we can all afford to buy.

i like the Pink one but I think my favourite is the White. I get them for 99p each in my nearest £1 shop, but they are £3.99 each in the village chemist down the road.
