I'm not exactly sure why I bought this, as I don't have a tan and I rely on blusher and powder to add shimmer to my face. However, I have become quite keen on this product and tend to use it on nights out so I don't look washed out in photos.

This bronzer comes in a compact with a clear twist-off lid. As you can see the powder through the lid you may be a bit dubious about the rather dark shade, however this does look quite subtle and natural when applied lightly. The packaging is not as robust as I'd like it to be, mine has become battered in my make-up bag to the point where the lid is cracked and falls off without twisting it first. Unlike a lot of powders, however, I have not experienced any problems with excess powder creating a mess.

The lightweight product applies evenly as long as you use a very small amount and build it up gradually. To apply, I use a big powder brush, swirl it around the powder once, tap off the excess and sweep it on to the face. I do this in an 'E' and '3' motion on either side of my face, starting above the eye brow, coming round underneath the eye, then sweeping out and down, around the jaw line. Following this I dust a little down my nose to add shimmer and depth. This product does require a fair bit of blending to ensure you end up with a shimmery natural look without looking like you've been Tango'd. Also be sure to apply the product in a well lit area or you may apply too much, which will be hard to tone down.

This product is fairly easy to wash off, particularly as it does tend to disappear slightly after several hours wear. At just under £5, however, this bronzer is an afforable way to add a bit of shimmer - you can even apply it all over your body should you wish to add a glow to bare skin.
