I didn't set out to use Sunshimmer Instant Tan, but some how a bottle ended up in my room. This particular tan was the "Medium Shimmer" and since I didn't have a clue who's it was, I decided to try it. All I can say from the beginning of this review is that it probably would have ruined my night out but also my life if I was forced to use this product ever again. The "shimmer" side of the instant tan is disgustingly glittery, and reminds me of something a 12 year old girl would find appealing. Once I opened the- may I give it a little credit, very helpful accessable squeezy tube- the tan that emerges from the bottle actually looks like brown tar. I immediately was put off the product but after urging myself applied a small amount to my skin. I presume you need to use gloves but since I couldn't or didn't actually want to finish my body off, I didn't really come across the problem some people have with stained hands. The tan clings to all the hairs on the skin. I was wondering how people thought this ever looked good, until the tar turned into a tan brown colour on my skin. It actually looked alright!! I then realised I only applied enough for about 3 inches of my skin and by the time I went to put some more on the disguise the hideous line that had attatched its self to my skin, it had dried. This confirmed to me to name of the product- Makeup, because that's exactly what it is. It actually LOOKS like makeup, and the colour does not look natural at all. A few weeks later, I discovered who's the tan was after getting ready at my house she asked me to apply it to her back. This time as it was a large surface, I got a chance to see the sunshimmer in action! The tan clung to all the hairs on her back and turned them BLACK........ it is so glittery and fake looking, dries in seconds which is definatley not even a good thing..........
