Advantages: Excellent results from first use.

Disadvantages: Messy if not used in the shower.

Back in June when we had some sunny weather and the sandals made their first appearance of the year, I began to notice I had unsightly rough skin around my heels and on the sides of my toes. I don't usually use any creams on my feet but I hated to see my feet looking so tired and uncared for so I had a look around for a good foot scrub. I have used Scholl products many times before and know they are a trusted brand so when I spotted this rough skin remover I didn't hesitate to buy it.

The product comes in a small white tube containing 75ml which is plenty to last you a long time; a little goes a VERY long way! On the back of the tube it suggests applying to clean, dry feet and rubbing in circular motions which feels lovely as the cream contains pumice grains to blitz all the dead skin on your feet. Once you've done this, rinse. I tend to use it in the shower as it is the quickest, most convenient way I have found to use it and it would be quite messy otherwise as it's used on your feet making walking troublesome! The info on the back of the tube also suggests using it 2 or 3 times a week and as it is quite abrasive I think this is sensible advice.

After I had used it for the first time, my feet felt smoother and looked much softer and smoother which was the effect I had hoped for; no more white, chalky heels and toes! I then used the Scholl Deep Moisturising Cream (check out my review of that too!) to complete the treatment.

I use the Rough Skin Remover a couple of times a week when in the shower just to keep my tootsies happy and I have been more than satisfied with the results. If you often wear sandals or sling-backs and your heels get rough, white or cracked, give it a go and you should see results.

Summary: Great results from the start, a must from a trusted brand.
