Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: a bit thick
I hate spending over the odds on beauty products which is why I buy this shower gel. It costs just 10p for a 300ml bottle from Sainsburys and in my opinion it's a bargain.
The bottle is slightly frosted but there is no mistaking that the contents within is green in colour. It has a flip top lid which is easy enough to open with one hand and finger movement which makes it very convenient.
The shower gel itself is quite thick and jelly-like so it can sometimes slop off your hand and end up on the floor of the shower. This doesn't bother me at all because it's so cheap.
The gel lathers up amazingly well considering it's not the most expensive product in the world. It makes you feel as if you are very fresh and clean once you scubbed and it rinses off the skin without any problems too.
I don't have sensitive skin so wasn't expecting to come out in any rashes but I use it onmy boys so wondered how it would fair up. I have to say that there were no problems here either and even though my youngest is only one, there were no signs of rashes or pimples anywhere.
This shower gel is defnintely a great buy if you are more into products that do the job rather than luxury soaps and gels.
Summary: A great gel

- 14/09/09 I recently tried the Tesco Value one and that was great, but this one does sound a little better for the same price. Shall try it, thanks. |
