... for my body as it lathers up quite well. I think there are a good number of the beads in the gel, you can really feel them when rubbing this into your skin. It washes off easily and leaves behind no trace. There is no real smell to this product, it does smell of something but not anything I can put a name to, it just smells of unfragrenced shower gel. Although I would prefer it to have slight hint of something to it, I presume this has been done to limit the number of ingredients and for this reason I do not mind...more

Premium Review Sanex Dermo Exfoliate Shower Gel: It works for me! (415 words)

This shower gel from Sanex claims to keep skin healthy producing renewed and smooth skin everyday. The gel is an exfoliant and contains micro beads. The bottle is 250ml and is regtangle in shape. The bottle itself is frosted, you can see the gel through it however, which is green. The lid is blue and operates via a push-down bit on the top. The gel is pale green and contains lots and lots of tiny little blue beads. They remind me of particles of sand, except that they are not as harsh on your skin! I haven't been using a shower puff for this and find that I need two squirts for my body as it lathers up quite well. I think there are a good number of ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sanitise! Sante! Sanex! (1490 words)

Sanex is a shower gel that I have often used simply because the first time I ever saw it, I was on tour with an orchestra in France and Germany. It seems to be a universal product available internationally although I assumed that it was slow to come to the UK because I never really saw much of this product line until the early 1990's but realise due to You Tube adverts that Sanex was available as far back as the 1970's! From time to time then I have used Sanex as a back up shower gel simply because it is so cheap to buy and because it largely carries the promise of what it does. Considering that most shower gels cost around £1-99 for a 250ml bottle, I've ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sanex Dermo Exfoliate Shower Gel: How cheap! (379 words)

I like a bargain and so when I spotted Sanex shower gels in Tesco on a buy one get one free offer I decided that we would be using Sanex for the next few weeks! On closer inspection I noticed the exfoliate variety had been reduced to just 89p a bottle and as it was still part on the buy one get one free offer I bought 6! Once at the checkout I was happy to see that I had indeed only paid 89p for 2 bottles, a real bargain as Sanex is usually £1.79 a250 ml bottle. To be honest if it hadn't been on offer I would never had chosen Sanex. The name and look of the shower gel is a bit too boring for me. I prefer fancy bottles with exotic sounding names! However every ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Renewed skin (244 words)

The Sanex range of toiletries is well known for being kind to skin. I do have sensitive skin and use most of the Sanex products. I was very keen to try this exfoliator as I cannot use most of the other exfoliators on the shelves. The Sanex dermo exfoliate comes in a 250 ml bottle. It comes in a see through bottle (which may appear green due to the colour of the gel coming through the bottle) and a blue lid. The lid is well designed as it has a very good grip so you can open the bottle easily, which is good as it gets slippery when it gets wet. This exfoliate is able to be used daily to renew and smooth skin. The gel itself is green in colour and ...  Read the complete review
