Advantages: Can be cheap, fit into slim high heels, unlike normal Party Feet cushions.

Disadvantages: Wether they work dependds on person, cushions don't stick properly.

I wear high heels, almost religiously, I wear them everywhere, shopping, art galleries, seeing friends and when I go out for a night out with the girls. I do have a favourite pair of heels, my pink, glittery pair which were on sale at Faith, so I though I just have to have them! So I brought them, and I wore them on a night out with the girls, trying tot make them jealous with my new shoes. Oh, they were soo jealous, but after about an hour of dancing and hanging out, my feet were killing me. I had that horrible burning pain in the sole of my feet, and it become very painful to walk, and dance, my night was being spoilt. So my usual coping method is to take off my heels, and hope no one steps on my feet and I don't step on any glass on the way home. So this would happen every night out, so I decided to have a investigate in Boots, to find a product that help stops that burning pain in my feet, and I found Scholl Party Feet Ultra Slim, and thought I'd found my cure, but was I right?

Firstly, the product is a gel cushion, which sticks to the insides of your high heels, just around where your sole of your feet would be. These little cushions are for thinner type shoes, strappy sandals, and other smaller/thinner shoes, which is a good thing because the normal versions of the Party Feet are way to wide for my favourite shoes, and would be very noticeable, but these thinner ones look almost invisible.

So the most important part, how well do they work? So I went out with the girls to the pub, and Scholl Party Feet didn't work. Not at all. Well okay I must of lasted longer in my heels, around and hour and a half, before I just ended up taking my heels off. Yes, I know I'm an idiot for wearing heels that I know ache my feet, but I think it's even worst when a product claims to stop the burning pain in my sole, when it doesn't. Oh I was livid. And the little gel cushions didn't stick very well, so they kept sliding around in my heels, which made it much harder to actually walk around, which could have been very dangerous, thankfully nothing bad happened. Okay, I had a bad experience with them, but talking to a woman who drinks in my local, she said she spends her whole life in her heels, and she said the Party Feet have been quite good for her, but she did say she doesn't get that burning pain as bad as most other women. So I guess this product depends on you, and how much of a pain threshold you have, and I guess how much you wear your killer heels.

Scholl Party Feet Ultra Slim and other products in the Party Feet range, can be found in Boots, Superdrug and other pharmacists, but also in shoe shops like Faith, Office and Clarke's, and in shoe departments of big chain shops too. Prices range from around 2-6 pounds.

Summary: I'll be partying without them, I think.
