Sebamed Anti-dry Hydrating Body Lotion
I received this product in a beauty box last year I think and it not a brand that I have heard of before, I think it is an American brand body/hair care brand although it is available online in the UK
- Product description (from Sebamed)
"Sebamed Anti Dry Hydrating Body Lotion effectively nourishes the skin, boosting hydration by 26% within a 3 week period. Lipid reservoirs are replenished to restore the skins natural moisture balance, smoothing the skin and increasing its elasticity. The regenerative capacity of the rapeseed phtosterols effectively alleviate skin irritation. The pH value of 5.5 supports the acid mantle of the skin to re-establish its barrier."
- About the product
I have a sample size bottle of this body lotion and it states that it is highly concentrated, it relieves sensitive skin/tension/irritation, It increases the skin elasticity and counteracts dehydration. It also has a neutral pH so that it doesn't irritate the skin. There are numerous products in the anti-dry range such as the emulsion, body lotion, day cream and night cream.
- Using the product and results
I have been using this product as a foot cream and as a hand cream as it is a small bottle. I heard really good things about this product before I used it from American reviews so I had high hopes before using this product. It looks like an average body lotion, it is a white cream and it is not too thick - it is definitely much thinner than anybody butter which is what I am used to. The cream has a slight scent of plastic and some kind of freshness which is nice. This product is really really nice as a hand cream as it is thin but moisturising and it does not leave any greasiness or residue on the skin - and it absorbs really quickly which is great for a body lotion and especially a hand cream. The cream has a nice thin but silky texture which makes it nice, quick and easy to apply and massage into the skin. It is a really nice product to use and apply; it is very moisurising too despite the thin consistency. Overall, the lotion leaves my skin smooth, very soft and moisturised; it does not irritate my skin at all and it doesn't feel greasy.
- Price and availability
This product is from an American brand so it isn't available in stores in the UK (as far as I am aware) but you can buy it online. The price for the 200ml bottle is only around £5/6 which is really cheap especially for a great moisturised like this. There are a lot of product in the ranges and they are really reasonable prices.
*None for me but the lack of a scent may put some people of this product
