... Arrid at all, didn't keep me dry, and was not totally clear, I would probably give it 1 or 1 1/2 stars at best. The Dove was a little better, but I still doubted the protection against sweat under pressure, maybe a 3 star product. Secret passed all my trials and I decided that was the one I was going to use, but how did it perform? After 6 hours in a light blue dress, dancing and socializing I was totally dry and still smelling very fresh and clean. The Secret Satin worked 100% and I am very impressed. If a de...more

Premium Review Secret Satin Dry Cream: Why I Love Keeping A Secret (344 words)

I get very tired or buying deoderants that leave white poder marks on your clothes, cause itchy skin and give off a worse smell than you'd ever have if you hadn't bother using one in the first place. I've nver been a fan of anything you roll on, I always thought of the 'YUCK' factor of leaving sweat on it just to re-apply it to yourself. A friend of mine told me to try out 'Secret'. She assured me that it had a lovely gentle smell, no white residue and because it was a cream that you clicked up to use, nothing would be left on the applicator. I bought a peach one to try out, and was amazed. It went on and dries ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review That not so secret "Secret Satin Dry" (395 words)

I've tried to use this product, because apparently deoderants are better for you. However, I have had problems with using this particular brand. I did what I normally do with roll on/stick deoderants and then got dressed. The fragrance was fresh and lasted for quite a while, I felt comfortable, cool and confident. It was only when taking off my chic little cardigan that I noticed all this white stuff smeared around the armpit area. Now, that kind of knocked my confidence in what my actual armpits must have looked like at that particular moment, and being in a public place I didn't have the nerve to take a quick peek. I mean, I wasn't sure ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Secret Satin Dry Cream: Yipee! (94 words)

I was beginning to wonder if I would ever find a deodorant that was always 100% effective. I had tried most of the 'powerful' deodorants - you know the kind that promise sweat-free armipits even if you are a rock-climbing lycra-suit wearing high flying executive.... ... then as a last ditched attempt in the battle against summer time odour I tried Secrets stick. Yippe! It works - 'nuff said. The only disadvantage is that it does leave quite a bit of residue on your clothes - but maybe that's just cos I pile it on. Try it! ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review It really does work! (105 words)

I tried this when it first got sent to me as a tester pot and loved it! I am a very "perspirey" type of person and have always had trouble finding an antiperspirant that works. this is excellent. It is available in a stick too, which tends to last a little longer and is cheaper and just as effective. Shop around for prices too as they can vary enormously from £1.88 for 2 in Tradex to over £2.50 each in Boots. Look out for offers, Wilkos is consistantly good value. Buy it and try it, It really works ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Secret Satin Dry Cream: The Secret of Clean Fresh Pits (417 words)

I must have tried every anti-perspirant deodorant going, and this one is far and away the best for me. I'm not particularly sweaty, you understand, just rather particular about what I want to daub under my arms every morning and how it should perform throughout the day. Having sensitive skin, I need a deodorant that doesn't sting. Secret has never caused me the slightest bit of irritation or soreness. Liking to look my best, I do not want a deodorant that leaves great big white powdery patches under my arms and on my clothes. Secret cream does neither. Rub it in well and it dries in seconds and leaves no tell-tale residue behind. As ...  Read the complete review
