My partner and I both have sensitive teeth so we've used sensodyne toothpastes for years but as we drink quite alot of fruit juice and red wine we decided to try Sensodyne Pronamel. The claim is it strengthens your enamel on your teeth. It's also for sensitive teeth. It's more expensive than alot of toothpastes and we paid £3.26 a tube. The first thing I noticed was it tastes funny, not fresh like normal toothpaste, it's still minty but with a slightly nasty after-taste. I persevered though and found I got used to the taste. I used to use the normal sensodyne tooth paste, not so much out of preference but more because I needed it. It was the only tooth paste that reduced the sensitivity of my teeth, I found that whatever else I tried, if it were colgate for sensitive teeth, macleans for sensitive teeth, aqua fresh... nothing else worked. So when sensodyne brought this 'pro-namel' out I had mixed feelings. At first I was really glad there would be some variation, I get bored with only being able to use 4 only slightly different tooth pastes, and desperatly wanted a change-and it was in a cute package too!. But then I saw the price tag- its like £3 for a tiny 75 mls! This is ...
