Sensodyne Proenamel

Description: Brand: Sensodyne / Type: Toothpast

... gentle spearmint taste that leaves you feeling fresh and minty but without the burn. I love this toothpaste because now I can eat a cold icecream or a drink a hot coffee without hitting the roof. Eating in company is far less embarrassing now. Overall I would say that if you have seriously sensitive teeth this toothpaste is worth the high price you pay, but to balance the cost you can mix it with another of Sensodyne's products to keep the cost down....more

Sensodyne Pronamel. Toothpaste for sensitive teeth and helping with tooth enamel repair, apparently. Me and my girlfriend tried this instead of regular Colgate for a month because we have some enamel damage to our teeth. We picked up a 75ml tube for £3.29 at our local Wilkinsons, which makes it quite expensive compared to all of the other toothpaste brands out there, but it supposidly does more for your teeth, not that we could see the changes. It tastes like normal sensodyne really, it has a similar taste to mint humbugs. It's not unpleasant but its not the best taste either to be quite honest. The tube didn't last very ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Left My Mouth Feeling Greasey (353 words)

I usually buy Sensodyne toothpaste for sensitive teeth and this can be quite expensive so when I saw Sensodyne Pronamel I though it was worth trying, although, at £2.75 it is not cheap. My main problem is that I get pain when I eat very cold, or hot things and brushing regularly with a product that is designed to deal with this sensitivity is something I have always done. I thought that protecting my tooth enamel, which is what this product is designed to do, would be a good idea. Sensodyne Pronamel comes in a blue and white box/tube. It is available in all chemists and supermarkets. I bought mine at Tesco. Colgate ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sensodyne Proenamel: Sensodyne Pronamel - say hello to tougher teeth and gums (263 words)

Sensodyne Pronamel was recommended by my dentist after I had an attack of gingivitis, yet another embarrassing condition of mine. I was surprised by the cost, at £2.79 from Superdrug it wasn't cheap. Since then I have found it in Boots and Asda for cheaper. £2.29 is the cheapest I've paid for it. I also feel it is over packaged and should be sitting on the shelves 'naked' so to speak, like most other toothpastes. For the first week of using the product I didn't notice any change whatsoever as my gums seemed to have permanently raw nerves at their surface. I use an electric toothbrush so it only takes a tiny amount of the thick white ...  Read the complete review

Price: £2.72 for 75ml at Tesco 02/11/08 means that this is quite pricy, but it is a medicinal toothpaste, not 'just' for getting toothypegs clean. Packaging: In my opinion this toothpaste is over packaged. There is no reason that any health information couldn't be put into a folded leaflet and stuck to the side of the tube (in the way that you get ingredients lists stuck to the side of some cosmetics). The lid of the tube is much larger than that of ordinary toothpastes which would make it easier to remove if gripping the tiny caps of ordinary tubes is a problem. Product: Sensodyne Pronamel is a white paste and quite minty tasting; not ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sensodyne Proenamel: This is very very effective at reducing sensitivity in teeth ... (520 words)

I used to use the normal sensodyne tooth paste, not so much out of preference but more because I needed it. It was the only tooth paste that reduced the sensitivity of my teeth, I found that whatever else I tried, if it were colgate for sensitive teeth, macleans for sensitive teeth, aqua fresh... nothing else worked. So when sensodyne brought this 'pro-namel' out I had mixed feelings. At first I was really glad there would be some variation, I get bored with only being able to use 4 only slightly different tooth pastes, and desperatly wanted a change-and it was in a cute package too!. But then I saw the price tag- its like £3 for a tiny 75 mls! This is ...  Read the complete review
