Advantages: Removes leg hair and buffs skin

Disadvantages: doesnt remove other hair and still get shaving rash

I bought this the other day after watching a movie with my freind and when turning the movie off putting tv on the shopping channel came on. we were about to change channel when we saw it was about a new painless way to remove bodyhair and thought, hey lets listen to this. it was advertising sheer skin, a product which uses small crystals on a pad (kinda like sandpaper but really smooth so its actually quite soft) which when used in a circular motion (only circular) apparently removes hairs from the folicle kind of like waxing but is painless. I thought this was too good to be true to went to thier website and had a look. I have started to suffer from shaving rash recently which is really annoying, it starts with a burning sensation after i shave and the next day my legs are all bobbly and sore, it makes me not want to shave as often as i normaly would because of it so i was interested in trying something new so in the end i ordered it. It was £19.99 for the pack which includes the large and small depilitator pad with 5 refills of each size plus postage and packaging which was about £4.99 if i remember correctly. it said on the website that it would take about 13 days to come but actually came in only a few so getting the cheaper shipping option turned out ok.

As soon as i recieved the package (delivered by DHL) I had a go, it really did remove the hair so the leg was beautifully soft and it also buffs the skin making it appear fairer as if freshly exfoliated (because it is freshly exfoliated ^_^) I was very impressed.

HOWEVER next day, 'shaving rash' again, it said on the website the hair would remain gone for 1-4 weeks however next day my hair was prickly again so obviously didnt remove it from the root just somehow removed the hair from the surface in a similar way to shaving. I would honestly say it wasnt any better than shaving and actually took a little longer (although this can and has to be, done dry so if you wanted to do it without having a shower this would be better than shaving) It is supossed to be able to remove underarm hair and bikini hair also but it was absolutely rubbish at this so shaving and waxing win unfortunately. I think it turned out to be a waste of money although there is always a chance i was using it wrong although if its that easy to use wrong, again i think it was a waste of money :(

Summary: waste of money if your looking for something that doesnt cause shaving rash

sounds the same as silkymits which are much cheaper. I think I'll stick to shaving though!
