I was in my local Tesco express and needed to buy some toothpaste, I find when you go to a smaller outlet the variety of products are very limited and often have to buy the expensive leading brand products. Then I came accross Signal, now I think I do vividly remember using this as a child as I remember the red and white stripes but don't often see this brand in the shops and don't think to buy it. The reason I was drawn to this product was because of the price, i think it was about 99p whereas they only had another choice of colgate and it was one of those pump ones but double the price. Now call me tight but I refuse to pay extra because its a pump ... Read the complete review

Choosing a toothpaste that is suits your everyday needs is easier said than done. My front teeth are rather sensitive and the Dentist recommended using Sensodyne, the Dental Nurse kindly gave me a sample tube. I was told that you have to persevere with Sensodyne, the toothpaste doesn't offer instant relief but used over a period of time it supposedly calms the sensitivity. Sensodyne averages £2.50 plus a tube and after using it for a month I felt that the benefits weren't great enough to justify the cost. Some toothpastes have a nasty habit of making my mouth sore, so if I find one that leaves my mouth feeling fairly fresh and no soreness ... Read the complete review

From the first tooth that I grew, like all mothers, my mother made sure that I cleaned my teeth well. For this twice daily task (in the morning after breakfast, and at night time just before I said my prayers) my mum always insisted that we use Signal toothpaste. I was always jealous of other kids who's mums bought Colgate minty gel, cause in my opinion it tasted nicer. I only know this, however, because in Primary 2 our old bat of a teacher insisted that we clean our teeth at lunch time as well. So in an effort to liven up this mundane task we used to swap toothpaste, cause swapping toothbrushes was just too gross a thing to consider, even at the age of 7! ... Read the complete review

Whilst being at home over the summer, I have used the products that my mum buys and therefore when it came down to the toothpaste, I was using Signal. I had never heard of it before and am a bit funny when it comes to toothpaste as I don't like them to be too strong as it burns, or too weak as I feel it's done nothing. So when I came to try this product I was pleasantly surprised. I am an Aquafresh girl myself and usually always use it and this toothpaste tasted quite a lot like Aquafresh also, so this pleased me. The toothpaste comes in a box and the tube it is contained in, is pretty simple. It says signal on it clearly, so that you ... Read the complete review

I recently purchased Signal whitening toothpaste and was very unhappy with the results achieved after using the product for one month. There was no clear difference from my normal toothpaste despite having to pay a premium price over my normal brand. I am also unsure whether or not it is healthy for your teeth to have a certain amount of stains or tartar on them. Are consumers being sold a worthwhile and safe product? I used the tootpaste twice a day as I do with my normal toothpaste. I wonder if any other consumers have had similar experiences with this or other whitening oral hygiene products. The results of using this toothpaste have been ... Read the complete review
