Something I own alot of is body creams and lotions though I have to admit that although I own them I don't use them much at all. I tend to buy something on a whim without little thought. However the other day I purchased this product...and with good reason.

I have noticed of late that I have been getting really dry and tight skin in places. A bit on my back and around my knees and like I say it can feel a little tight and uncomfortable and this sounded like it may help calm the skin down somewhat!

The Packaging:

White and dark green box and on the front of it in green, white and red writing I'm told it is Clinically Proven Simple 'Derma' Intensive Relief 'For very dry, sensitive skin prone to eczema & dermatitis' Cream and I'm told it is made using natural plant oil and is to soothe & lock in moisture and that Simple are experts in sensitive skin and that it contains no perfume, no colour and you can expect results from using this in 4 days. Other information on the box includes being told about the a bit about the product, directions for use are given, ingredients are listed, the size is stated which in this case is 50ml and contact details for Accantia Health are given (the manufacturer of Simple products). The tube is basically the same as the box in appearance and tells me much of the same information as on the box. It looks a functional product rather than pretty and is very in keeping with the 'Simple' style.

Me Using It:

Well this is really incredibly easy to use! You simply unscrew the cap, give the plastic tube a slight squeeze and out comes a none fragranced white cream. It's of great consistency not being too runny but having a little body to it. I simply put a small blob on my fingers and then gently massage it to where I feel I need it.

It's a light lotion/cream, not at all greasy and once applied it absorbs mega quickly with minimal rubbing required and you can dress immediately after using this. You can't feel it as such on the skin but you can see the skin is moisturised in appearance as it relieves the appearance of dry skin so quickly and even more than that, it does it for hours. It does have a slight sort of planty aroma to it but what is nice about this is that it isn't a heavy aroma or anything so doesn't interfere with with any other fragrances you use. It offers immediate relief and as promised any skin that requires a few applications of this cream, after four days I found mine cleared up a treat!

Verdict:

None greasy, easy to use and you can apply it anywhere you like even the face. It absorbs quickly doesn't irritate the skin at all and really effects the look and feel of your skin in one easy step. It's a great little find, really is simple and a little of it goes a very long way. I like the size of my tube, handy for on the go dry skin emergencies it lives in my handbag nowadays

I paid £2.15 for my 50ml tube in Boots but it is available in lots of different places!
