Advantages: Great used as a cleanser, mild, fragrance free, price

Disadvantages: Not great for sharing if you're fussy like me!

As a sufferer of very sensitive skin, before discovering this product I wouldn't have used soap to wash my face if someone paid me. Most of the products that I had used were much too strong for my skin and left it itchy and red. I first tried simple after a friend who also has very sensitive skin recommended it to me. I was a little sceptical at first as in the past I had always used cleansing gels or lotions however I can honestly say after around 3 years of using simple soap I would never consider any other product to wash my face.

How to use this product: There are no specific instructions on how to use the soap as it is intended to have multiple uses, however I wash my face using simple twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. The product is also mild enough to be used more than this, for example I often use it to refresh my skin after exercise or on those rare hot summer days.

Personally, I do not like to rely on the soap to remove all of my makeup so often use a wipe to get rid of my makeup before using simple, however for some people this may be all you need to cleanse your face, especially if you don't normally wear foundation.

I have always trusted the Simple brand as their products have no perfumes or colours, so are great for people with sensitive skin. One of the best things about this soap is that it doesn't dry out the skin, leaving your face feeling clean and fresh.

Simple soap is also great for use on the body, especially if you suffer from skin conditions. I have a friend who suffers from eczema and she swears that the soap is one of the only things that doesn't make her skin react.

Another great advantage to using this product is the price. The soap can be bought for around £1, however many shops sell them fpr around £1.50 for a pack of two, saving you money in the long run. Each bar lasts ages, much longer than expensive cleansers, so you don't need to constantly keep remembering to replace it.

The only disadvantage that I can think of to this product is down to my personal preference. Personally, i don't particularly like the idea of using a bar of soap to wash my face that other people have rubbed their hands all over so I insist on having my own bar in my house. Maybe that's just me being a bit obsessive but at its bargain price, I can afford to be picky!

This is another great and effective product from Simple and I would highly recommend it, especially for people with sensitive skin.
