Advantages: Great scent, creates great bubbles, leaves skin soft and smooth
Disadvantages: None that I have found!
So if you have read my previous reviews then you will know how much a fan i am of pampering myself!!! I don't feel guilty about it, I work long days and abit of 'me time' doesn't hurt anybody! I have reviewed Soap and Glory products before but this has to be one of my favourites. Let me tell you why.....
I recieved this product as a birthday present 2 years ago now,my birthday being in November I always have a look through the Boots catalogue and point out items I like (no tact here!) and this being one of them. The set came with the Soap and Glory Rigteous Butter as well as the Bubble Bath and looked great on my bathroom shelf!!
The Calm one, calm all bottle is 500ml in size and approx 20cm in height. The bubble bath itself is pink in colour and very girly! The packaging is up to Sopa and Glorys traditional standard with a very retro look about it. There is a picture of a lady sat in a bath on the front (black and white photo) with cream and white writting telling you about the product.
To use the product you need to unscrew the top off the plastic bottle, you are instantly hit by the gorgeous fragrance of the bubble bath (more on that in a moment!) I like to put the plug in the bath with the water just starting to fill the bath and add 2-3 capfulls of the product into my bath. The bubbles are soon created ready for you to lie down and relax.
The scent of the product is a great mixture of lemon balm, bergamot, strawberrys and mandarin combined with mask, amber and vanilla. What a scent! The bathroom smells fantastic and the scent is left on youe skin long after you have got out of the tub! I do use this product with the righteous butter and flake away exfoliator (they have similar scents so the scent stays on my skin even longer)
The great quality of the product is its formula, it has a body lotion built in. So you lie away in the bath, covered in moisturising bubbles and then once you have got out the body lotion kicks in and leaves your skin feeling soft and soothed!
I would really recommend this product to someone, especially someone that loves a long relaxing bath like me. The product is not greasy like some bathing products an like all soap and glory products is not tested on animals.
The product is available form Boots and Boots.com for the price of £4.99 (that also gains you 16 advantage card points!) I think the product is fairly priced and a bottle lasts me a a good couple of months, using 2 capfuls at a time.
I will leave you with this great quote which is on the bottle of the bubble bath...
" Queen Elizabeth I wrote in 1598 that she bathed once a month, whether she needed to or not!"
Summary: A great bubble bath by the great Soap and Glory team!

- 10/07/09 I always expect anything that colour to smell and taste like blancmange. I would probably have to taste it first before tipping some into my bath. |
