Advantages: keeps hands soft
Disadvantages: none
I got this body mist as part of a christmas present. It came with a soap and glory shower gel as well.
When I first smelt it, the smell was very different to any other body mist that I had ever used. On the bottle it doesn't mention what the scent is supposed to be, so you kind of have to play a guessing game called 'guess the scent. The one way which I can sum up the smell in a perfect way is sweet.
Unlike your normal body cream, it is a 'mist' so you have to spray it on, something which I have never had to use before! Anyway, I'm not altogether a very big fan of any body lotion of any scent or consistancy. So I was a little hesitant when first trying this out.
When useed after you have had a shower (or bath) the overall smell of the two bottles works quite well. It's when you use it with another different body lotion, that the scent becomes a little confused.
With some lotions, I have realised that my skin has been left feeling either really dry after I have used it, or really greasy and oily. I can't seem to get skin that feels soft. That is until I tried soap and glory.
After eleven months of use, I still have half a bottle full, so it lasts extremely well, it is also in quite a small narrow bottle so it fits into a little bag if you want to go on holiday with it. The bottle is almost see through, so although you cant see straight through it, you can see how much liquid you have left in the bottle.
Personally, I only use it on my hands so I dont get the full effect, but just by using it on the hands, I can tell that it makes your skin feel more soft, and smooth (which is something that it claims to do on the bottle) so it must be doing something right!
It smells lovely, and I would thoroughly reccomend it to anybody who tends to get dry skin. Unfortunately I dont know how much it costs in the shops, but I do know that it costs £6 from boots online. For a 250ml bottle, that isn't bad at all.
