Advantages: Non greasy and smells divine
Disadvantages: Zilch
A couple of months ago, I had some vouchers to spend in Boots and decided to use the to stock up my present drawer. I like to keep a few gifts in the house for emergencies when I am unorganised or haven't got time to go shopping. When I visited Boots I looked in the gifty body care section and was immediately drawn in by the Soap & Glory body care stand. I had never tried any of the range before but the packaging really appealed to me. The marketing people have clearly done a great job as the product range really stand out and has a very strong look different from everything else out there. The whole look is a little retro which is right up my street.
At this time there was some kind of offer on the Soap & Glory range, I forget what now but I ended up choosing 3 products and the 'Hand Food' hand cream was one of them. The cream went into my present drawer, until a few weeks later and I was sifting through the drawer looking for a gift for a male relative. I spotted the hand cream, and was really tempted just to have it for myself. My hands were in pretty bad nick, really dry and generally in bad condition and I had been using a cream that was really greasy and not really effective. I thought I'd just squeeze a tiny bit out and test it..... loved it so much I ended up removing the cream from my present drawer and placing it in pride of place on my dressing table.
'Hand Food' just really is a really great product. I didn't think it could possibly live up to the claims on the packaging but it really and truly did. What I liked about the most is that it is non-greasy unlike most other hand creams, which seem to leave a thin film on your hands. This stuff just soaks into the skin and leaves them feeling incredibly silky and nourished. It also smells completely divine, it has a really sweet and warm aroma and contains shea butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow.
This product does feel like a real treat and quite indulgent however it is very well priced and will not break the bank, a 125ml tube from Boots will set you back £4.40, however Soap & Glory products are frequently on offer. To sum it up I love the stuff and looking forward to trying some of the other products in the range.
Summary: A fantastic hand cream
