Advantages: Nice mild gel

Disadvantages: Pricey

I'm a big fan of the Soap and Glory range of products and alongside Lush products these pretty much fill out my bathroom cabinets and my sports bag. At the moment there are some big savings on the range in Boots so it is worth checking out.

The Soap and Glory Jam Session Cleansing Jelly has a lovely fruity aroma to it which is very appealing indeed. It lathers up really well and from my experience is quite mild on your skin and not as harsh as some soaps can be. I use it in the shower as an alternative to soap or standard shower gels and I find it very effective at cleansing my skin even after a big sweaty work out.

I would describe the scent as fruity rather than floral, it smells a bit like freshly picked raspberries and in the palm of your hand it does resemble a dollop of jam.

The only real drawback is the cost as even with the third off it was still £3.50 which is a bit on the pricey side if you did not get the discount. The packaging is a bit retro, in fact without the pump action on top it sort of looked like a childrens medicine bottle or sun cream. The press pump works well and does not dispense too much of the gel.

Summary: Cleansing gel
