This is the only lotion that I purchase and swear by. I have tried other lotions, but they just do not meet the power of this St. Ives 24 hour lotion.

Most lotions claim that they last 24 hours, but they really last 24 seconds. I have a bottle of Suave aloe lotion on my desk at work (because other people use it and it's cheap) and my hands are dry five minutes after I use it. On the bottle it claims 24 hours, but it is nowhere near that.

On the other hand, the St Ives lasts much longer, maybe not 24 hours, but you don't have to reapply every five seconds. The best part of this lotion is that it is not greasy at all. When applied to dry skin, it soaks right in, and in about 5 minutes you can feel the protection without the slimey feeling that some other lotions leave.

The scent is fairly neutral, which is good if you are not looking for a smelly lotion or have reaction to perfumes.

If you are looking for a long lasting lotion at a great price, this is your best option. I found this lotion about 2 years ago, and have not switched in my house yet!
