I just got this lotion spray today, and I’m impressed. I bought the peach and pear hydroxy from “halfpriceorless.com” for a lot cheaper than the high street (99p online), they also had vanilla and vitamin E variety there. The bottle is easy to grip, and the spray doesn’t come out too quickly. The only thing that I have found to complain about it so far is that you shouldn’t use it on any broken or inflamed skin. It doesn’t warn you about this on the bottle, and some lotions and gels are alright on my skin, but this one stang when I used it near where I had scratched myself! I like the scent though, very fresh and refreshing. The perfume seems to last for quite a while too, and it isn’t too overpowering. The bonus with this product is that it isn’t at all greasy, so your hands will not be all slippy and yukky after using it, and it absorbs into your skin quite fast, leaving your sking moisturised, but not in an oily way. You can hardly tell that you’ve used the lotion, except that your skin feels more comfortable. This variety contains natural extracts of: Peach (prunus persica), Pear (pyrus communis), Chamomile (chamomilla recutita), Elderflower (sambucus nigra), Cowslip (primula veris), Sunflower (helianthus annuus). There is quite a lot of chemical preservatives in this, but a lot of natural things too, and the main moisturising action comes from liquid paraffin. There are better products out there that are gentler, but for the moment I’m using this!

Life is too short to stuff a mushroom...and sometimes, it is too short to spend half an hour rubbing body lotion into your skin. Yes, of course this can be luxurious, and if you're in that kind of pampering mood it can be a lovely experience. Especially if some gorgeous person is doing the rubbing in for you ;-) However, there are many days I can't be bothered with body lotion. I want to be out, skipping through the fields (or, more normally, rushing to get the bus on time...)and need a quick fix to stop me looking lizardy. Not that I resemble a lizard, but you know; sometimes your legs could do with a bit of a polish... St. Ives have come up trumps with a fabulously scented, very moisturising yet not greasy spary. A couple of spritzes and that's it, you're all silky and yummy smelling. I got the 'Sunflower and silk' version, which includes silk proteins and aloe vera to soothe. The scent is very like the 'Sunflowers' perfume, but not as sneeze-inducing. It's fresh and summery, with a hint of creamy vanilla. It's not exactly a substitute for a perfume, but it will leave you smelling nice for a few hours at least. The moisturising aspect of the spray lasted all day. You only need a couple of squirts, so a bottle should last quite a while. I loved this product so much I brought the company.... Well, no I didn't, obviously, but I've always wanted to say that! What I actually did was rush out and buy three extra bottles as they were on special offer. Now I can be silky in a flash!
