... and even worse, desperately trying to hide the orange streaks with longer clothing in the heat! As a mousse it is easy to apply and it goes on smoothly as you can see where you are putting the product because of the instant colour. At first you do look a little grey but after a few hours you become darker and then after a minumum of four hours you wash it off and voila! You are a bronzed (not orange) beauty! I find this product quicker to apply than most because of it being a mousse and its less worrying about how da...more

Premium Review St.Tropez Whipped Bronze Self-Tanning Mousse 8: No more of the tangoed affect! (257 words)

I have been using this product for quite a while now and I absolutely love it! It surpasses all the other fake tans on the market although one I cannot include in this is the Fake Bake as I haven't used that one. St Tropez mousse goes on well and you can see where you are putting it and how to avoid any streaking. With other fake tans, I have applied it and then have woken up in the morning to find loads of streaks on my body and an orange colour to my skin. With the St Tropez, it produces a natural looking bronzed tan and you can apply it as many times as you want to achieve the colour you want. In other words it seems to be a gradual tan rather than just a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A reliable product I use time and time again (519 words)

Being a red-head, I am milk bottle white, and although pale may be interesting its a little daunting going on your holidays in a sea of bronze with your legs lighting up the pool area at night. I swear by this product and have used it for years after many disasters with other products. Occasionally I will be swayed to buy another brand but I always return to St Tropez! This product is perfect for paler people as it is not such an intense colour but for anyone who wants to be darker or with darker skins you are probably better using the lotion or intensive bronze. It is a little pricey but the bottle does last a while and it is worth the moneyt han buying ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review St.Tropez Whipped Bronze Self-Tanning Mousse 8: Do you want to see my white bits? (423 words)

Being naturally fair skinned the only way I can get a healthy glow is to fake it, my other options would be to go red and freckly and probably risk skin cancer and wrinkles eduring sunbeds. Due to this I have tried many fake tans, mostly the more premium brand such as Fake Bake, Clarins, Estee Lauder etc and have decided that for my skin type St Tropez is definately the best one for me. St Tropez is available in several types which I have tried, there is the lotion which goes on a very deep brown and needs to be left several hours before rinsing off, I found this made me too dark and slightly orange, everyday lotion which is not suitable for the impatient like ...  Read the complete review

This is one of my essential beauty products.... On many a occasion at work I have been asked if I have been on holiday and I when I reply its false tan people are shocked because they think the tan looks so natural . And where does it come from .....a bottle of St Tropez Whipped Bronze Self Tanning Mousse. The price is quite expensive and for a 120ml bottle you will pay £20 and for a 240ml bottle £30. I always opt for the larger bottle and it last me around a month at least. Its definitely more expensive than other products especially as you can get tan for around £8 a bottle but these just don't come close, I have tried over 20 other ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review St.Tropez Whipped Bronze Self-Tanning Mousse 8: St. Tropez - Thought I would be more impressed... (466 words)

Here's my review on St. Tropez Mousse, I based it on its performance on the following categories: Price: £30 for 240ml, which is a bit steep for me. Shop around, definitely try eBay, I bought 240ml for £15 incl. P&P, 50% less than in the shops. Colour: It is described as extra strong colour, as it allows you to mix with moisturiser to get the colour you want. I'm very fair, and applied two coats which gave me a quite noticeable change in colour. Is also tinted, which looks really great if you want a deep colour for the day, don't panic though if dark isn't for you as the tint isn't the same colour as your tan. Also helpful to see where ...  Read the complete review
