Well yet another “summer” has arrived here in sunny England and I am as pale as a frightened ghost. Although summer comes every year- and every year I vow to use it to my skin’s advantage- come September and I still look like I’ve been hiding in the refrigerator all summer. Well living here in the lovely England, that statement is not far from the truth; if our summers got any cooler and duller and rainier, we would practically be living in one giant fridge freezer! But then it’s just as well for me. I recently spent a whole week in the sweltering heat of southern Spain, only to spend half of it walking around in sticky factor 50 ... Read the complete review

St Tropez Self Tan Lotion has been around for quite a while now. Loved by top celebrities, the people that always seem to have an emaculate tan, with no streaks. Something that seems impossible to most of us, unless you choose to fry on the beach, or opt for the sunbeds, which in my opinion you would have to be mad to do, unless you want to look like a dried up old prune not so far down the line, and not to mention the risk of skin cancer. So what can you do? I'm sure 80% of us have tried to fake tan with disastrous results, enough to put you off for life....and some people make it look so easy! I have read the opinions, the magazine articles, the ... Read the complete review

Being a natural shade somewhere between 'milk bottle' and 'Caspar the ghost', I'm always on the lookout for that elusive product - the perfect fake tan. I've tried loads of brands over the years, but struggle to find one that isn't too dark, doesn't go streaky, isn't too expensive and (the big one for me) doesn't smell too bad. Well, now summer's coming round again, I find myself drawn to that shelf in Boots again and overwhelmed by the choice on offer. I spotted St Tropez Everyday self-tan in the fair-medium shade as it was on offer at only £8 instead of the usual £14 or so. This is more expensive than the usual brands I buy (Dove, Nivea etc) but I'd ... Read the complete review

I’ve never found it hard to get a tan - I only have to so much as step out the door on a sunny day and I turn brown. However, one year when I had no holiday abroad planned I was in work during the sunny daytime and realised I wouldn’t get a chance to catch any rays that year (and I’m rather hesitant to overdo it in the sun what with skin cancer and looking like a prune in my older age). So I wanted a perfect sun-kissed tan without the skin cancer and premature ageing. I mentioned this to the girls at work and they told me about a ‘St Tropez’ tan. They said it was the fake tan that all the celebs used and the one that they applied in all the best salons. ... Read the complete review

Summers here! And it’s the time I start rushing out to stock up on the fake tan … ok so fake tan … I know what you thinking! Orangey, gunky, streaky hey but fake tan can look good. Preparation Application and most importantly a good Fake Tan are all the ingredients you need to make yourself look fabulous! I have used many types of tan … Clarins, Body Shop, Elisabeth Arden, Lancôme (try their flash bronzer for the face it develops in 1 hour and looks fab! ) Rimmel, no 7, and I can solemnly swear you get what you pay for. There is a great difference between the cheaper tans and the more expensive ones but it’s a personal choice and if you can ... Read the complete review
