Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Does smell
I am the "Queen" of fake tan having tried at least 15 different brands over the years! I can honestly say that St. Tropez is the winner! I also would recommend Ecotan from QVC which is great for topping up a natural tan but not really strong enough when you have zero colour and are starting from scratch! I was quite alarmed the first time I used St. Tropez as it does go on incredibly streaky and you do look like you have smeared yourself in mud! Be patient you can buff the streaks with a special glove after about 10mins and you don't look quite so bad but this is best done at night and then go to bed in loose pyjamas. I use the original lotion for my arms, legs and front of body and I use the sparay for my back. Once the colour is well established the spray will top it up well and as it dries in a couple of minutes you can do your back and front in the morning and let it develop under your clothes but legs and arms are definitely best done at night. I use cream mixed with the fake tan on a cotton wool square for my hands and feet, this works well and I always dilute with moisturiser for face too. It lasts at least a week particularly if you keep yourself well moisturised. Good colour no hint of orange! THE BEST DEFINITELY
