Advantages: Does the job, Very good for oral health as they disinfect the dentures... prevents fungal infection.

Disadvantages: expensive

Steradent was recently re-formulated so it can now be used on metal dentures without dissolving them.

On the whole its a good product that works well at disinfectibg dentures, but unless you use it everyday you will still need to brush the dentures. The only downside is the tablets are fairly expensive to use on a daily basis as recommended. Using them twice a week and just keeping the dentures clean by brushing them will do the same job and keep the dentures in a good state and reduce the chances of getting fungal infections.
