      Love it

I shop at Superdrug quite a lot and I buy a lot of their own brand products, as generally speaking, they represent excellent value for money and they are always good quality. They do a lovely body lotion for anyone who is on a tight budget. The bottle is fairly large at 375ml and costs only 99p. This is an Aloe Vera body lotion and this is the reason why I was first attracted to it as I love anything for my skin that contains Aloe Vera as it seems to suit my skin perfectly.

This lotion is packaged in a fairly plain and simply designed plastic bottle with a little (hard to remove at first) flip up lid. When new, these lids are really hard to lift up and then you have to press down hard again to shut them. After a few uses, however, they seem to slacken off a bit. At least there is no danger of it spilling as the top is clasped to hard shut.

This body lotion is suitable for all skin types and of course it has been dermatologically tested. They also make shower cream and hand and fact creams in the same range, though I have yet to try these. The cream itself is white in colour and flows smoothly out of the little hole in the top of the bottle. It has a really fresh and pleasant fragrance and it's not sickly or flowery.

It is medium level consistency and if I were forced to say runny or thick, then I would be swaying towards the runnier side of medium, if you know what I mean. It sinks into the skin rapidly, in fact a bit too quickly and so it's not the best lotion to use if you are thinking of using it as a base for a fake tan as it dries off too fast.

It leaves the skin feeling really soft and smooth and fresh and as it dries so fast, I am able to get myself dressed more or less immediately. It is a budget body lotion and the packaging is plain and simple but at the end of the day, it cost less than a pound and does a really effective job so I am very pleased with it.

I have also actually used it on my face once or twice (though it doesn't say you can do this) and it's caused me no adverse reaction.

      Highly recommended.
