Perfect for a fruity scent and gorgeous soft skin

      THE PRODUCT:
Superdrug Mango & Papaya Body Lotion, so it can only be bought from Superdrug, and I think I got it for £2.95 (it was definitely less than £3)
300 ml slim bottle with flip lid making it really easy to open - Not an exciting design, but its simple but still attractive. I like the sticker on the front, which is black, with the superdrug star logo at the top, some writing and then a photograph of a mango and papaya at the bottom, all in front of a black background.
The sticker label on the back is also black, with some information about the product, including that the product is dermatologically tested, suitable for vegetarians and vegans and that superdrug is against animal testing.
The bottle can be recycled also.
'Created with refreshing mango butter, renowned for its skin conditions benefits'
The product should last 12 months from opening.

      DOES IT WORK?
It does. My skin instantly feels softer, from the moment I apply the lotion and will continue to feel soft even when I wake up the following morning. After a couple of days of continuous use I noticed that my skin had drastically improved. It felt softer and looked so much healthier. I use it all over my body and it's done wonders for all of my skin.
The actual lotion is more gel like than creamy. This gel like consistency makes it easy to apply and also gives a cooling and soothing effect on skin. I used this after aggravating the skin on my legs by shaving in a hurry. Anyway, it instantly cooled my skin and soothed it. It made it feel so much better than any other lotions I have used after committing this shaving sin previously. The gel like feeling of this body lotion also makes the lotion feel lighter than if it was a cream. It didn't feel thick or heavy on my skin.
I've used this straight out of the bath and shower, as well as using it during the day. Any time I use this lotion it works amazingly. It applies easily and absorbs straight away so I can apply it just before getting dressed and I don't have to wait or anything. It doesn't leave a greasy residue or anything.
Wow, oh wow! The scent of this lotion, well, I just love it but I don't think it is for everyone. It smells quite clearly of mango and papaya, but it's not a strong or over powering scent. There is no other scent I can detect. (In fact I just checked the ingredients and there doesn't appear to be any perfumes added - I may be wrong though). If you like fruity scents on your body you'll love this. And the scent lasts all day. I applied the lotion this morning, and I'm writing this at 10 in the night, and I can still smell it on my skin!
The bottle lasted me 3 months, and I use this moisturiser all over my body every day, so for just under £3 this is very good value for money.

      Perfectly pleasant body lotion

As I have quite dry skin, especially in winter, I get through a lot of body lotions and moisturisers so am always on the lookout for something new and preferably cheap! This is Superdrug's own brand and is part of their Naturals range, which also includes shower gels and bubble baths. I chose this one because I like fruity scents and had a cheeky little sniff in the shop, and thought this one smelt yummy! The normal price is £1.99 but these are often on offer at 1/3 off, or 3 for 2. This is for 300ml which is quite a good size and should last a few weeks.

The product comes in a smooth cream plastic bottle with a clear flip lid. It has a black label on the front with the name of the product, a picture of a papaya and a mango, and a short blurb about the properties of these two ingredients - basically their skin conditioning benefits.

I used this after a bath, and my initial reaction was that it was quite runny - although it's a lotion, it has a thin consistency so you have to be careful it doesn't slip between your fingers. However this means it's really easy to spread over large areas of your body, and soaks in quickly so you don't feel damp or sticky. It's a pale orange colour and smells genuinely of mango (not sure about papaya as I've never eaten it!) However it's a pleasant fruity smell and not too strong.

I waited a few minutes before I got dressed, and found that this product kept me moisturised all day. My skin still felt soft that evening, and the smell lasted a long time too. This isn't the most special moisturiser I've ever used, but it's great for a budget product to use everyday.
