This review is for the Solait Kids 50+ Sun lotion I bought this product while caught out and about with my daughter who had no sun protection on and I had forgot to pack some in the changing bag. What first attracted me to the product was the price at the time it was on a bogof offer and cheap cant remember how much it was at the time but it currently is £3.98 so thought I would give it a go. What first caught my attention was the smell, its smells of strawberries and smells gorgeous almost good enough to eat. First of all i,m going to give you some tips to stay safe in the sun , if your skin gets burned from the sun it can cause permanant damage and premature ageing . Everybody needs some exposure to the sun , as its our primary source of vitamin d , and helps us absorb calcium for healthier , stronger bones, but you don,t have to stay in the sun ages for your skin to get the vitamin d it needs as it normally doesn,t take long . So its not all bad news as long as you look after your skin and protect it with sun lotion. ~ My tips ~ Always apply suncream of at least a factor 15 for adults , and the higher the better for children , 50 ... The recent warm weather as usual drew out shorts and white legs in large numbers, and after seeing a lot of lobster-fied people walking around, I decided to invest in a new bottle of sun lotion to protect myself from looking like a strawberry too. (you should buy a new bottle every year folks...as the SPF can reduce with time) So, I entered my local Superdrug to browse the many bottles of sun lotion on offer. I wasn't prepared to pay £14 for a bottle, so decided to look at the Superdrug own brand. I picked up Solait, and was told it shouldn't be any different to other brands.
