Having combination skin that changes from day to day - hour to hour it can be tricky to find a descent moisturiser that can stand up to it all. I had previously used the highlighting Vitamin E moisturiser by Superdrug so on a recent shopping trip to Superdrug I discovered the Moisturing Cream. It cost £2.49 for a 125ml pot which seemed very good value. The packaging is basic and it states that not only revitalises and protects the skin but it will also help to combat the damaging effects of free radicals. I have dabbled in expensive creams in the past and was shocked when a friend let me use some of her superdrug's own vitamin E cream. Having normal to sometimes dry skin, a lot of products are caked with complicated chemicals which over do it with my skin and also can be quite greasy or leave a 'film' on my skin, or make it shiny after I use it which ruins my make up. However, this product feels really refreshing and cool, even in room temperature. There is a light clean smell which doesnt over fragrance the product and makes the experience more pleasant. I have quite sensitive skin which has often been a problem when looking for an appropriate face cream. I'd tried plenty when one day, on a whim I picked up this product and took it home, expecting to have irritated skin all day long. However I not only found my skin to be soft to the touch, it didn't leave a greasy residue nor did it irritate the sensitive skin on my legs. I fell in love and I haven't bothered to try anything else since. Also the added value of 12 hour spf 15 attracted me in the first place as I have very pale skin and even in bleak sunlight I can burn, so it's a piece of mind and can help prevent ageing of the skin.
