Advantages: Handy to use
Disadvantages: a tad expensive
That's what one of my teachers in Primary school used to tell me anyway!. Well, whatever you want to call it, it still can be down right annoying if you are out, maybe on a warm day, and find yourself feeling all yucky. Now usually, some of us just deal with it and try to forget that it's there, while our friends/work colleagues hold their noses, trying desperately not to offend. Others cover themselves in the deodorant that they keep in their bag/car/locker for such an occasion and succeed in knocking out their friends with the over powering smell of "cool pink" or whatever type you use. Deodorant in excess can be unpleasant too. Another point is that by doing this you are really just covering up the offensive odour and not really getting rid of the problem. So how to get over this, well you could have a shower and change your clothes, but this is impractical on a day out (obviously), so Sure have introduced some brilliant little wipes that are designed specifically with such occasions in mind. The packet that I bought was a lovely little handbag sized set, with 14 wipes in it. The packaging was like a smaller version of baby wipes, only, obviously, they didn't have a baby on the front. The only fragrance that I could find was Sure Oxygen, but no doubt over a period of time, Sure will add to this range. Sure's Deo. Wipes are designed so that you can "clean and refresh yourself, anytime, anywhere" - though I would recommend going somewhere private as I'm sure the whole street would not be interested in watching you. They can be used all over the body, but are not for intimate hygiene use (just in case anyone thought of it) and are supposed to work alongside your own deodorant, but then again if your deodorant was working properly then you would not really have this problem. The actual wipes feel exactly like Pamper's baby wipes - very soft and thick material. They have a
"light" smell, and they work wonderfully in my experience. They are ideal to take with you on days out, and are in a handy re-sealable pouch, oh and, unlike most other sure products, they don't leave behind those white marks on your clothes! A couple of things though - if you are using these, be environmentally friendly and don't flush them down the loo, the material that they are made of is not biodegradable, and as with all deodorant product, do not use on broken or sensitive skin, and stop using if you find that they are irritating your skin. A simple, yet wonderful invention!
