Advantages: Smells great, effective antiperspirant, doesn't sting, handy size

Disadvantages: Not cheapest, no large versions.

I have been looking for an antiperspirant deodorant that smells really nice for a long time now. I used to buy Impulse because it was the nicest smelling deodorant on the market but whilst most deodorants do their job, none of them smell remarkably nice. Before I tried Sure Girl, I would have never dreamed of buying a Sure product as I disliked the smell of the feminine range. However, this was introduced last year and I think that 'Impulse' and other deodorant brands have met their match.
There are 3 types of 'Sure Girl': 'Fun Spirit', 'Crazy Violet' and this one, 'Tropical Power'. I haven't tried the other kinds but I don't think I will in a hurry because I love this one too much.

This deodorant certainly does as good a job as other Sure deodorants which, whilst not smelling so nice, are effective on decreasing wet patches and keeping you smelling fresh during the day and fresher after a gym workout. I am generally not the type of person who sweats too much or suffers from BO so I can't say what effect it would have on those who do, but it certainly works for me.
As I have mentioned, my favourite thing about this deodorant is that it smells great. It has a very summery, fruity and slightly floral scent that you could almost wear as a perfume, should you be lacking in pennies. I would advise that if you do wear a perfume that you don't spray it all over your body and just spray a bit on your underarms as it may mix in with and confuse the smell of your perfume. If you do worry about the deodorant smells mixing in with your perfume I would probably opt for one that is fragrance free, not this one. On the other hand, this could match very well with fruity, tropical perfumes such as those within the Escada range.

The scent of 'Sure Girl' lasts for a long time and so long as you spray it properly (right distance, right amount) there are no white stains. This is good because a lot of my clothes are black or dark. In addition, it doesn't seem to sting when you've just shaved your underarms.
It comes in an attractive little bottle with a pink design and top, which is just the right size to travel around with. My only criticism is that maybe a larger version would be nice to keep at home as I seem to run out of this quite quickly.
It costs £1.59 per 100ml bottle at Tesco at the moment, which may seem quite expensive for some people, in relation to its size. Then again, a 75ml Impulse bodyspray, which does not even contain antiperspirant, costs £1.74 at Tesco.

I wouldn't buy this on a strict budget but it is worth paying a bit more to get a deodorant that smells so good whilst being effective and kind to my skin. It's a handy size, looks pretty and is good for those who wish to smell a bit, well, girly!

Summary: Worth buying for scent and effectiveness.
