Advantages: good anti-perspirant

Disadvantages: not 24hr deodorant

I used to use aerosol deodorants as they were easy to reapply, seemed to give good protection from sweat and smell.

Then Mr M started moaning about being choked every morning. So I started to look at roll-ons. Almost anything for an easy life, eh.

Sure seemed to be a good place to start. It claims to offer 24 hour anti-perspirant cover, white mark protection, and a handful of different scents. I went for the Crystal Aqua as it had a fresh smell that wasn't too strong.

A little word on the packaging. Some roll-ons sit on their bottom, with the roll-ball facing upwards - the traditional way. Sure doesn't. The roll-ball sits at the base, so the deodorant is always in contact with the ball. This means that you don't get dry spots which drag on your skin as you try to use it. A gold star.

During the life of the roll-on tub, I never noticed any white marks on my clothes (for those that don't know what I mean, some deodorants can stain the cloth around your arm pits white, where the deodorant rubs on it) so that was another gold star.

The smell was fresh, like I said, but it certainly didn't overpower my perfume. In fact, after application, I don't think you could smell it at all. Another gold star.

I attempted some medium exercise (for me, that's walking fast - trying to keep up with the woofers!) and not once did I feel sweat being produced under my arms. It may have moistened under the band of my bra, but hey, no-one's come up with deodorant that suits that area yet! Another gold star.

How many is that now? Four?

That leaves the deodorant side. The bit that prevents you from smelling. Very important.

Here, I think it needs some improvement. Sorry.

I would apply it first thing in the morning, as you do. I'd smell fine when I changed after work (yes I have a habit of checking my pits! Last thing a woman wants is to have smelly pits) but when it was time to head for bed, an aroma was detectable.
I wouldn't say I smelt bad, but it did leave me self-conscious. No star.

Summary: an above average roll-on, but by no means perfect. If you shower twice a day, or are lucky to not suffer with body-smells, this deodorant will be perfectly adequate for you

Summary: You won't sweat, but you may smell after a while
