I think that tantowels are great!!!

Tantowels are basically a moist white wipe (similar to a baby wipe) that acts as a fake tan when applied to your skin. They are available in a small silver attractive packets that are vacum sealed to keep the wipe nice and moist.

The towels are available in two sizes. Firstlly the standard size that costs approx £1.50 (you need 2/3 to tan your entire body) Secondly there is the extra large tan towel that is designed to do you whole body in one go, this costs approx. £4. Tan towels are avialble in lots of stores but are all often found at the cashdesk of high street fashion retailers.

To apply the tantowel you should ideally wash, exfoliate and moisturise first and then wipe the towel over the required area.
As the wipe has no colour you cannot see where you have applied the tan, so you muct be very careful to cover all areas. The tan does not appear straight away but will start to show after 2-3 hours with best results after 12 hours.

I found great results with the tan towel. After use I have a lovley golden streak free tan. I find the towels much easierto use than lotion.

I find the tantowel most effective to top up a tan, when you already have a base colour (ie. when your holiday tan starts to fade a little)
There is a slight smell from the tan once it has been applied to your skin but it is very slight and actually smells quite pleasant.

The tan washes off gradually with each bath/shower. i usually find my tan has diappeared completly within about three days.

The only drawback I found was wearing strappy sandals. When i put my sandals on my feet were evenly tanned but when I removed them I had white marks where the straps has been as though the staps had rubbed the tan off.

The tan is suitable for use on your face and applies to the face well however I ahve found that after using the tan I can get a few spots.
