My sister buys me A Ted Baker gift set every Christmas and it always contains the Cleansing Body Wash. This year I recieved a Heavenly BodyWear Gift Set subtitled 'Ted's Adventures' which contains the bodywash in addition to Body Souffle, Body Scrub and Body Spray.

Ted Baker's packaging design is quite chic, with the brand logo, in a bold purple squre, always printed on the front of each product. Above the square there is a regal flower design. My giftset is designed in pink and purple colours although I do have a similar set, with larger sized products and the packaging is green and purple. The brand uses amusing singpost-like pictures as directions for use with silly captions like "You're good to go!" underneath. I imagine this means the product is aimed at younger women or those who have a sense of fun!

The body wash can be used like a shower gel and applied directly onto the skin or squeezed onto a sponge first. Alternatively it can be squeezed into running water.

The bottle has a top with a flick lid and a small dispenser hole. The top can be totally screwed off if required. The liquid is a pearly purple colour and very thick. It actually reminds me of images of molten lava as it moves so slowly and looks so gloopy!
The aroma of the body wash is very sweet and sickly, like the nectar from an orchid flower. On the packaging it is described as "joyful floriental perfume perfectly balanced with bright fruit notes resting on a wood and amber base"! It is a beautiful, rich but very sugary smell. It is quite powerful in a steamy bathroom!

The body wash lathers up very quickly and creates a luxurious foam. It cleans, refreshes and softens the skin. When I am dry my skin feels as though it has been moisturised and perfumed. On its own or used alongside other Ted Baker products this is a high quality body wash which makes showering more pleasant!

Ingredients include: Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulphate, Cocamide DEA, Sodium Chloride, Parfum, Glycerin, Citric Acid.

The product is marked as "Tested On Humans". The product will stay fresh for 24 months after opening.
