Ted Baker BodyWear Rich Body Souffle
Advantages: Smells delish!! Lovely packaging ... Sinks into the skin .. Absorbs and rubs in great!!
Disadvantages: The higher price range product :(
I got this product last year as part of a gift set I think. I loved the packaging, but had never really been into body moisturiser. After having a sort out and going throguh my bits and pieces I thought I would bring this out onto display as its packaging is just so nice.
Like I said iv never really used moisturiser as I always felt quite damp on my skin after use, and when I have come out of the bath or shower and get changed I like to feel really dry. It has a fresh perfumed distintive fragance to it, and seems very more luxurious than your standard moisturiser. Now when I apply this its great as it sinks into the skin and blends in great. Some moisturisers dont move nowere and you can't rub them in, however a dollup of this on your shin, really does move around and do all over your lower leg. The reason as to why I think I liked this product so much and went back using it was due to the fact that I noticed it was a SOUFFLE. Now I recently purchased a Boots No7 Souffle face moisturiser and noticed that this felt great on my face also and sunk in without any damp residue being left. So to summerize I came to the conclusion that souffle named products must be whipped or formed in a differnt way, and to me really blend into the skin a lot nicer. This formula looks quite thick in the tub, however as soon as you touch it, your hands just sink into it.
It suggests that you apply this product onto slightly damp skin for rapid absorption. I do notice it blends easier and quicker on slightly damp skin, however I have used it dry also and its still great.
Jasmine, rose, pear & apple is what is used in the product to create that fresh feminine scent along with coco butter.
250ml is a really good sized tub, however I havent been using it religiosuly every night, just when its at hand. I mean I have been using it pretty reguarly. Im just surprised how considering its not been daily Iv already used its all up practically within the space of a couple of months. Im not sure though this might be average for this type of stuff. Once opened it does last 24 months, which is really good I think considering most products tend to only last 12 month, some even only 6.
The packaging is wodnerfully girly and very elegant. Its a dusky rose pink colour I would say, with a pretty pattern in a lighter color on top of this base color. Its only when you look really carefully at the pattern you notice its made up of slippers, candles, mobile phones, baths, hairdryers, books ect to really add to the girly image. I have hit PAN on the product (which means that I have hit the base of the pot) So I think I proberbly have approx 2, 3 at a squeeze applications left, and ill be scooping every last remains of this from round the sides. Im even going to reuse the pot, for either my next moisturiser or just a pretty earing container maybe.
I would deffinatly repurchase this item again. However im not sure who expensive it is, so it maye have to be an indulgent product, but this deffinatly works for me, and has converted me to moisturiser ... or souffle at least :)
Hope this helps
