I started buying hand gel about three years ago when my oldest son was born prematurely, I knew I would keep my hands clean form him, but it was always useful for when visitors came round to have a cuddle. I figured, if they advised you to use it in hospital, it's got to be fairly important. I suppose I probably got a bit addicted to it and came to relying on it and would panic if I had run out. I dont recommend using it in this way (freakishly obsessive), however it was very handy to take out with us. The bottle is clear plastic, so you're able to see how much you have left. Asda's brand is a squeezy bottle rather than the usual pump that you see ... Read the complete review

I bought this because, i go to school and with all the drama about swine flu and washing your hands, i just thought it would come in handy. When you are in school or work, and really busy you dont have time to always go to the toilets to wash your hands. That is why i think this antibacterial hand gel is so convinient because you can have it in your pocket and use it whenever you want to. The price of this is 49p which i think is outstandingly cheap because handgels like carex are about £1 and to get one half the price that is just as good is better! They both say they kill 99.9% of bacteria so i really dont see the diffrence. I like this handgel ... Read the complete review

Now I have been buying hand gel for 2 or 3 years now, since working in schools can be quite a sticky and unpleasant place at times! Since the recent 'Swine Flu' and so have you, I thought I should buy more of it and am using it more often. I normally buy the Carex 'Aloe Vera' one, but when I was in my local Tesco's the other day I spotted these amongst all the hand cleansing items. When I saw the price was just 49p I picked myself a couple...and then some! The product: The product is a Anti bacterial hand gel. A hand gel is a way of cleaning your hands quicly and simply if you cannot get to a sink, i.e with no soap and water! It claims to kill 99.9% ... Read the complete review

Last night I decided to head to Tesco for a little bit of shopping. With all the warnings about Swine Flu with posters plastered all over the office, I decided to purchase an antibacterial hand gel. I already had one at work but didn't like how sticky it made my hands feel. So whilst walking around the toiletries section I came across this product which was priced at 48p for 50ml which I thought was fantastic so I bought a few for my work friends as well. I normally smell the products before buying them as a few of them have a strong alcoholic smell, with the shop being so busy I didn't even think about smelling it and just popped it in the trolley. My ... Read the complete review

Like a lot of parents, the need for constant cleaning of small hands on a regular basis is enough to drive any mere mortal to despair. So there was great interest when we first discovered this miracle substance. I believe in the not to distant past we first saw the stuff while visiting an open farm. Of course there they were in large anonymous pump action tubs with warnings to pregnant ladies about touching sheep. Since that day my quest to find the stuff began. I think that Carex first introduced the gel in the current form, and I snapped them up in abundance. As with almost everything these days though, the supermarkets' own brands soon starting spouting up, ... Read the complete review
