Advantages: Easy to use, cheap and gives hands a nice fresh feeling
Disadvantages: None I can think of
I don't know about you but I'm really paranoid about hand hygiene! I've always been fussy about it but with me so quick to catch colds and flu (germs can and will travel of course lol) but what with swine flu knocking about as well I'm really conscious and now I'm addicted to hand gels and taking precautions much to the amusement of my friends and family!
I actually own several bottles of this type of stuff hidden in handbags and places so I'm never caught out nowadays though some are better than others. I mean they make claims to work and lets face it we don't know for sure if they work or not but what I have found is that a lot of these types of product are sticky, heavy and leave hands dry hence why I keep buying new bottles to try!
The Packaging....
Handy 50ml clear plastic bottle with a flip top lid to the top of it concealing a small hole. On the front I am clearly told it is Tesco Antibacterial Hand Gel and that it kills 99.9% bacteria and that it cleans & refreshes hands without soap & water. On the back I'm simply given directions for use 'Apply a small amount onto dry hands and rub in until dry', contact details for Tesco are given and there's a bar-code on there to finish it all off. Very simple little bottle this and I do like the handy size to pop it into a pocket or bag or whatever.
Using It....
Well as directed I apply a small amount of the clear gel with a bit of body in it (it's not stiff or runny) to my cleanish already hands. It smells to me of flowers and is quite highly fragranced and best suited to us females though it isn't sweet and/or overpowering or anything it just sports a nice, rich aroma. I feel the addition of this aroma is brilliant as it also disguises aromas as well as freshening the hands.
So a small amount of this goes a long way making this 49p bottle an excellent and economical buy in my mind. You simply and gently rub it into hands and it evaporates rather quickly but not before spreading very well first. It dries into the hands in seconds and not only does the cool, slightly tingling gel actually feel likes its freshened up hands, hands feel refreshed and recharged and very smooth to the touch. No need for hand cream or anything after using this and your good to go in confidence to tackle oncoming germs!
Another added benefit of this is say your on the go and want to nibble something you don't get the taste of this in your mouth which is great for me as a smoker and hands are not left greasy so again you can use this gel and type, write and get on with life etc. It really is a good confidence boosting product if your trying to battle the nasties in life and me, well I'll buy this over and over again just to be on the safe side if nothing else! lol
Only available in Tescos!
Summary: A great product I will repurchase time and time again!
