Tesco Crème Bath - Lilac & Silk

**WHAT IT IS**

It is a crème bath, which you add to the water when you are taking a bath. It will leave the bath smelling and you can make bubbles if you fancy it with some effort. It is made from natural extracts and is designed to help your skin feel more hydrated and to cleanse it.

**PACKAGING**

It comes in a see-through bottle, which you can see the pearly lilac crème inside. It is waterproof and durable, so it could withstand being dropped.

The lid is lilac, it screws off and it is very easy to get the product out. To get the product out you just pour it carefully into the bath.

On the label at the front there is the Tesco logo in dark purple as well as a brief description on what the product is. There is a picture of a lilac flower at the bottom, which is pretty to look at.

On the back there is a label which has further information on the product in black writing. The labels are waterproof and will not be damaged if you dropped the bottle into the water.

**INGREDIENTS**

Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Chloride, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Parfum, Glycol Stearate, Cocamide MEA, Disodium EDTA, Citric Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Benzoate, Triethylene Glycol, Benzyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Benzophwnonw-4, Alcohol Denat., Syringa Vulgaris Extract, Ethyl Ester of Hydrolyzed Silk, Magnesium Chloride, Magnesium Nitrate, Methchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Hexylene Glycol, Cl 17200, Cl 42051

This may be useful if you are allergic to any of these ingredients.

**PRODUCT**

It is a thick crème, which is pearly lilac in colour. It has a perfume smell, which I am not overly fussed on. It isn't a horrible smell but it isn't a lovely smell either. To use pour a small amount into warm running water and it will create the desired foam and bubbles required for a relaxing bath. Make sure to avoid contract with your eyes as it may cause irritation. If contact does occur make sure to rinse your eyes immediately with clean water.

It leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturised. I think this product does hydrate your skin leaving it feel smooth. I like this product but I am not overly keen on the smell of it. To improve it I think they should change the smell to make it more appealing but this is a matter of personal taste.

At 46p for 300ml I think that this product is good value, as it doesn't take a lot of the crème to make you have a nice relaxing bath with lots of bubbles so it lasts a reasonable amount of time. I do not think I would buy this product again though, as I don't like the smell of it. I might try a different type in the range though.

Summary: not to my personal taste
