... during which times I stock up. The product itslef is a pinky purple colour, with a similar coloured lid. On the front of the product, Tesco claims that firstly, this is a new formula, but that is has a wild berry fragrance and is moisture rich. Now previously I have bought some of the more expensive gilette ladies shaving gel, but truth be told, they are no better, and no better smelling or easier to use that this Tesco shaving gel. This shavign gel has been designed especially for women, and is supposed to create...more

Premium Review Tesco Moisture Rich Berry Shave Gel: Tesco Satin feel shaving gel - why buy anything else! (369 words)

This Tesco satin Feel Shaving Gel has been a permanent resident in our shower for the last couple of years since trying it out for myself. I have always used good old fashioned shaving to get rid of unwanted hairs on my legs, underarms etc. I have always been very happy using the plan bic sensitive razors, however, I would always pay a little more for some decent latherig shave gel, but I don't really have to since finding this. This Tesco shaving gel comes in a 200ml container and usually costs just over £1, although Tesco frequently have it on offer for £1, during which times I stock up. The product itslef is a pinky purple colour, with a similar ...  Read the complete review

I usually use shower gel for shaving my legs, but do tend to get through quite a lot of it for this reason. In a money saving attempt, rather than opt for a cheaper shower gel, I decided to try this shaving gel. I had used similar products in the past, and knew that a little goes a long way with this stuff as you only need to squirt a tiny globule onto your hand and it turns into a huge mass of foam. I hadn't bought any shaving gel for a while though, as I remember it being quite expensive for something that I then classed as unnecessary when there is shower gel in the bathroom already. However, when I came across this Tesco version for just £1 on a recent ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Moisture Rich Berry Shave Gel: Not wild on this one (312 words)

I tend to flip between using shaving foam/gel and using soap or conditioner, only using the former when it turns up in the shower! On first sight, the smell of this shaving gel is very sweet, and 'wild berry' is the perfect description of it! The tin is nice and attractive, if a bit simple with the only graphic being a cherry. The gel is a light purple colour, and when you press the top it shoots out (like most shaving gels!). It's here that I get to my first criticism; the shaving gel is far too runny for my liking. It doesn't go on your legs very well and doesn't stay put, it tends to slide down. I also found that the lather or foam that it produces is very ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tescos Satin Feel Shaving Gel for Women (729 words)

I generally don't tend to use shaving gel when shaving my legs etc as I have a pretty good razor which leaves legs etc smooth as it is without the need for shaving gel. However, when a friend recommended Tescos Satin Feel Shaving Gel to me I thought I'd try it out. My friend raved to me about it so I just had to see what all the fuss was about!! This review is for the Wild Berry fragranced gel. ======== Packaging ======== The gel is contained within a metal 200ml tin-plated steel cannister - similar to that of hair sprays. The can has a really appealing look to it. The can itself is a quite rich purple colour with a plastic lid, again in a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Moisture Rich Berry Shave Gel: It's berry good (442 words)

I don't normally use shave gels, I tend to just use whatever soap or shower gel is to hand, however as I use a lot of Lush soaps which don't tend to lather up too well since Lush switched to their palm-free base, I decided to get myself a shaving gel. I spend a lot of money on beauty products but have been trying to cut back, which is the main reason I went for Tesco's own make of gel over a branded one. It's especially for women this one, I would think probably because it's highly fragranced it might not be suitable for men to use on their faces. It states on the can that it is suitable for use on legs, bikini line or underarms. Another thing about the gel ...  Read the complete review
