This Tesco satin Feel Shaving Gel has been a permanent resident in our shower for the last couple of years since trying it out for myself. I have always used good old fashioned shaving to get rid of unwanted hairs on my legs, underarms etc. I have always been very happy using the plan bic sensitive razors, however, I would always pay a little more for some decent latherig shave gel, but I don't really have to since finding this.

This Tesco shaving gel comes in a 200ml container and usually costs just over £1, although Tesco frequently have it on offer for £1, during which times I stock up. The product itslef is a pinky purple colour, with a similar coloured lid. On the front of the product, Tesco claims that firstly, this is a new formula, but that is has a wild berry fragrance and is moisture rich.

Now previously I have bought some of the more expensive gilette ladies shaving gel, but truth be told, they are no better, and no better smelling or easier to use that this Tesco shaving gel.

This shavign gel has been designed especially for women, and is supposed to create a 'luscious creamy lather....(which) helps your razor glide over the skin smoothly'. It also states on the reverse of the product, that this shaving gel is suitable for legs, bikini line and underarms.

Now in the couple of years that I have been using this shave foam, I have always found that it has worked easily, with the gel coming out of the dispenser without problem and then lathering up easily. I generally have quite sensitive skin, and never once has this affected any of the skin that I have shaved. The fragrance is light and not overpowering and I have found that it leaves a nice lingering smell on your skin and even in the shower afterwards.

Assuming Tesco continue to produce this product at the same reasonable price, I will continue to buy it, as I feel that it does just as good a job as the more expensive varieties of womens shaving gels. A great product from Tesco.
