Advantages: cheap, lasts a long time, easily stored
Disadvantages: needs to be re-applied
Tesco Lilac Body Spray comes in a typical body spray bottle which is about 15cm high, plus the purple plastic lid on top taking it to about 20cm in height.
The can is a deep shade of purple in colour with a much lighter shade of purple for the writing. It contains 75ml of body spray (47g) and, like other body spray products, it is highly flammable.
On the reverse side of the can it says that the product has "a fruity floral fragrance suitable for all over body use" which is something that I would certainly avoid normally due to having bad hayfever and asthma which can be triggered by scented things like this.
However, I decided to be brave and bought the product for a reasonable 47p from my local Tesco. When i got out to the car, I tested the scent of the product and it was surprisingly quite sweet and not actually as flowery as I had expected it to be at all. In fact, it hardly really smells of flowers. It just smells sweet and summery.
The scent does last for several hours, although I would say that the more expensive brands do last longer than this one does. The product lasts for several months with frequent use, though, so I guess a long lasting scent isn't so necessary when the product lasts for a long time.
It's fairly easy to store, what with it being a long slender can, and I would suggest keeping it in a handbag or maybe in the car if you're going out so that it can be re-applied.
All in all, this is a very good product for the price and it lasts for a long time, making it an ideal product.
Summary: Pretty reasonable for the price
