Whlist browsing the isles at Tesco and thinking about my lovely warm bubble bath when I got home I spotted this! I normally always go for a shower gel and whilst having plenty at home I went for this as it sount so much more relaxing! I didn't particuarlly get drawn to it because of its packaging, but more towards its price! What is it? It is a shower creme, in Magnolia and Silk flavour. A shower creme is very different to a shower gel and is thicker and more creamier and rich on the skin. Purchasable: It is purchasable at Teco's as it is Tesco's own product. Price: It costs around 60p which I think is great value for money ... Read the complete review

I've tried all kinds of shower gels over the years and come to the conclusion that you don't necessarily get what you pay for! However I love my showers and spend a lot of time in there, so I'm always on the lookout for something new, and preferably cheap, to try. I picked this up in Tesco with my weekly food shop, as it was priced only 72p which is a bargain, especially bearing in mind the large 500ml bottle, much bigger than the standard 250ml of most shower gels. I picked this one as it was quite clean looking in plain white packaging, as my boyfriend complains if I buy anything too pink or flowery! I like the smell of magnolia and thought this would be ... I love a good hot shower in the morning especially on a cold day and therefore can get through a hell of a lot of shower gel. I like to experiment and try lots of different brands and fragrances to find my favourites but at the same time I dont like to spend a fortune. I used to buy a lot of Lush shower gels but I cant justify the cost of them anymore. I've turned lately to buying my toiletries from wherever I do my weekly grocery shop, last week it was Tesco. They sell a decent selection of bath and shower products including this Magnolia and Silk shower creme. It costs just 49p per 250ml bottle which compares very favourably with branded items. ... Tesco Magnolia and Silk Shower Crème is one of a range of shower gels and crèmes made by Tesco. They are from their more affordable range and retail for around 49p for a 300ml bottle. Having tried a few products from the range with varying success I thought I would give this one a go to see what it was like. The product comes in a 300ml clear plastic bottle with curved sides making it easy for you to hold whilst in the shower. Those of you who like to hang their shower products up will be disappointed to know that there is no hanging hook so it has to sit either on a shelf or on the side of your bath. I like the fact that the bottle is clear as it lets you ... Read the complete review

This is one of the worst shower gels / creams I have ever used - I'm sorry to be so negative but it just smells disgusting. Yes it is cheap, but for about 40p more you could get a lovely smelling shower gel like Palmolive. ********** The Smell ********** In theory it is Magnolia and Silk and to be fair when I read the ingredients, alongside around 50 other ingredients it does have 'Magnolia Biondii Extract' in it, but I'm not too sure how much. The smell is an absolutely overpowering, ultra-soapy and cheap smell which I don't want on my skin. If you like the smell of old-fashioned soap perhaps you will like it, but I really didn't I'm ...
