I go through a lot of shower gel and bubble baths as I use a lot of them. I will try and stock up on any of these bottles when I see a good offer on. This means that I have a cupboard of bits and pieces always ready to use. One item that I found in my cupboard this week was half a bottle of 'Sea Minerals' shower gel from Tesco. I remember using some of the shower gel and then putting what was left in the bottle away as I like to have a lot of different products. The bottle is made of plastic which is good for me as I like to do my bit for the environment and always recycle bottles like this once they have been washed out. The Tesco sea ... I always enjoy trying out new toiletries and am always tempted by a bargain and so the Tesco Sea Minerals Shower Gel made its way into my shopping trolley recently. The shower gel is available only in Tesco stores and retails for 47p so its quite cheap. What I wanted to know was whether it was cheap and cheerful or cheap and nasty! The shower gel comes from a range and there is a sea minerals bath foam also available. The shower gel comes in a clear plastic bottle with a blue flip top lid. The bottle holds 300ml. The gel is a lovely bright blue colour and you can see this through the bottle. There isn't any hanger on the bottle so you have to ... Read the complete review

I have a strange aversion to blue toiletries, for me to even touch a blue bathroom product it has to be very special indeed such as the ballistics and bubble bars from Lush. However, in Tesco recently I spotted a basket of reduced price shower gels which included their own brand Sea Minerals gel priced at just 25p for a 300ml bottle. As soon as I saw that fantastic price I decided to forget my aversion to all smellies blue and grabbed a few bottles. The gel comes out of the bottle easily and a small amount squeezed onto my sponge gave a decent lather when I came to wash with it. The lather isn't amazingly thick but I must admit it's very cleansing ... Read the complete review

I thought I would try a different type of shower gel for a change and as I saw this one on the shelves in Tesco. It is described as Sea Minerals Shower Gel. The bottle is see through in colour but appears blue as this is the colour of the contents. Although it is a very basic bottle no fancy picture or writing it is quite nicely shaped. It has an easy to use flip lid. The bottle is recylable and contains 300ml of the shower gel. When you first open the gel there is a nice fresh smell. The shower gel is a nice consistency - It stays on your hand nicely and you do not lose the gel between the fingers when you are trying to apply it to your body. It ... Read the complete review

Getting my boys to have showers on a school night has been a relatively easy task due to the fact that we have let them have their own shower gel and let them pick it themselves. This is the one which Jacob chose and I was surprised as he picked a blue one when red is his favourite colour! For the purposes of this review I have had a dreaded shower despite not liking them just so I could give my opinion of the gel. ~~THE BOTTLE~~ The gel comes in a nice clear plastic bottle which is good as it allows the user to see how much of the product is left and it comes in a good size of 300ml which usually lasts in my house about 2 weeks, that is with Daddy ...
