There are two things I believe that give away a woman's age more than anything else. Hands and neck! Well I use moisturiser on my neck but when it comes to using hand creams etc I'm well lazy so when I saw this as an intensive treatment for £4.98 in Tesco (and exclusive to Tesco) I thought it would be worth buying it a pampering treat!

The Packaging....

3 tubes come in a large square metallic silver box. On the front you can see the three tubes through a clear window to the middle of it. On the front in silver and light blue writing I'm told it is Skin Wisdom, Salon Professional Micro-Demabrasion Hand Care Kit which is a '3 step therapist endorsed system - for younger looking hands' and that it contains a micro-dermabrasion hand treatment, post-treatment soothing balm and anti-ageing hand cream (SPF 15 ) and 1 pair of cotton gloves. I'm also told that 87% of users noticed an immediate improvement in skin smoothness and that 76% of users felt the appearance of age spots was reduced in 14 days and that after 4 weeks users felt their hands looked up to 5 years younger! Other information on the box tells me a bit about the products and what to expect from them and how to use the treatment, contact details for Tesco are given and ingredients are listed. Within the box 3 tubes sit in a plastic tray and there is a a leaflet in there again telling me all the information that's on the box really.

Using The Products....

Step 1 Micro-Dermabrasion Hand Treatment....

This comes in a large 60ml silver tube. To use it you dot the thinnish white liquid onto cleansed skin and gently rub it in for about two minutes gently. It is comfortable to use, none fragranced and is a little rough as it contains exfoliating beads. When you rinse the lotion off I was shocked at how much dirt seemed to come off my hands although I had already washed them thoroughly prior to using it. It rinsed off really easily and left my hands feeling really deep down clean and alot smoother than previous to using it. It left my hands feeling slightly hydrated and very comfortable and my hands looked alot fresher just after using this!

Then Step 2 is using the Soothing Balm which contains Aloe Vera and Lavender and comes in a 30ml white tube. Its a light turquoise thinnish liquid which blends into the skin quickly and easily and a little goes a long way of this product. It makes skin feel so very soft and then of course you put the gloves on (as provided) and leave for at least for 20 minutes (best overnight). It's incredibly light, soaks in with ease and is none greasy and absorbs very quickly.

Step 3 is using the anti-ageing hand cream. This again comes in a white 30ml tube and is very lightly fragranced with some fruity smelling oils within it. Once again you only need a small dash of this and it's very thick and moisturising though it blends into the skin quickly, leaving no residue and really hydrates the skin from within giving a light gloss to the skin that really does makes hands look and feel fresh.

Results....

This a brilliant at home kit, gives all the results promised with ease, is cheap and works out cost effective and everything is included in the kit so no getting it home thinking you can't use it cos you need so and so. I have certainly noticed my skin texture is smoother and immediate results with this is that hands look cleaner and more perky and really do feel softer in the long term. I use this once a week as a treat and for the rest of the week my hands looks in good condition. My cuticles look softer, my nails looks cleaner and brighter and all round this is simply a very good kit and worth every penny it costs!
